Hi,
I don’t think this is possible. But let’s wait for confirmation from Admin.
PeterMemberHi,
When somebody clicks checkout what exactly happens? Does the person get an error immediately?
Can you please provide a link to a page so we can see for ourselves?
PeterMemberHi,
1) “The coupon did not work with the 15% discount but appears as used in the list. Why?”
What are the exact settings of this coupon and have you configured any conditions?
2) “my active coupons can’t be used limitless”
Regarding limitless coupons – when you were configuring your coupon did you leave the “Redemption Limit” field blank? If not can you please create another coupon and try this. After saving, you should see the infinity character in the “Redemption Limit” column in the list of coupons.

Can you please leave debug enabled and clear the log files by clicking the “Reset Debug Log Files” button in the eStore settings page and then try another test purchase or two and share the output of the debug log files please?
If you need more info about enabling debug please see this link:

PeterMemberHi,
Can you please enable debug for the eMember plugin by going to your settings page and then clicking the “Enable Debug” checkbox in the “Testing and Debugging Settings” section.
Then once you’ve enabled debug can you please share the output of the following files:
ipn_handle_debug_eMember.log
and
subscription_handle_debug.log
These log files can be found in:
/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/ipn
PeterMemberHi,
Which version of WP Affiliate platform and eMember are you using?
PeterMemberHi,
In the eStore settings go to “WP eStore Settings” -> “AddOn Settings” and then check the “Only Logged In Members Can Checkout” field.
This will make it so anyone can add items to cart but they won’t be able to checkout unless they log in as a member.
PeterMemberHi,
The key here is the “Funds have not been cleared yet” and this is something which is coming from the PayPal side.
The following post will assist you with what you can do to solve this.

PeterMemberHi,
Can you provide a link to the product for which this problem is occurring?
PeterMemberHi,
When the payment is not registered by eStore this most probably means that the sale has not been completed from the PayPal end.
Can you enable debug and share the contents please?
January 20, 2012 at 12:51 am in reply to: eMember is not showing restricted content for logged in member #40979PeterMemberHi,
How are you protecting your restricted content? ie, are you using a shortcode or are you enabling the “eMember Protection Options” within your page in the WP editor?
What are you seeing when you try to access the protected content when logged in as a member?
PeterMemberHi,
No I don’t think you can do what you’re specifying with eStore alone. eStore doesn’t add buyers to wordpress.
Using eMember together with eStore is the easiest solution for your scenario.
I recommend that you simply use the Free membership functionality to get people to sign up. Then once they sign up they are prompted to log in and you can automatically redirect your newly signed members to the page of your choice upon login. In your case the page people will be redirected to will be a member-protected page with links to all of the free downloads.
January 20, 2012 at 12:09 am in reply to: How to Create a Password Protected Download Digital Product Page #40982PeterMemberHi Vanessa,
I don’t fully understand your question because you mention that you want to sell the products using eStore but later say that “I do not want to have an e-store here. I will be selling these audios off of a sales page on my site which links into paypal.”
However I’ll try my best to give you an answer:
“How do I send people to a password protected download page after they purchase with these plugins?”
eStore and the affiliate plugins don’t have password protection functionality for content.
However, if you’re concerned about safeguarding your content, eStore does encrypt download links for each customer after they make a digital purchase – meaning it will be very difficult for anybody other than your customer to get this content because they would need the encrypted link. Also, you can configure the encrypted link which goes to your downloads to expire after a certain amount of time.
Regarding password protected pages – you can achieve this type of functionality using the eMember plugin. This is a membership plugin which integrates with eStore and Affiliate plugins and allows you to automatically add a client as a member of your site after they’ve made a purchase with eStore. eMember then allows you to protect any page you whereby only those who are in a certain membership level can access the protected pages.
PeterMemberHi,
Do you have example “affiliate” links you can share with us, both for the working and non working examples?
