Hi,
There is nothing wrong with how you are using the shortcodes.
Please try the following tests to see if your theme or another plugin is causing a conflict:

PeterMemberHi,

PeterMemberHi,
Please send a link to the page where you are trying make the change so we can take a look?
PeterMemberHi,
Which shortcode are you using to display the “Add to Cart” button?
Note that you specify any button image either globally in the eStore settings page via the “Add to Cart Button Text or Image”, OR,
via each product setting using the “Button Image URL” field. (This will override the global button URL)
PeterMemberHi Robert,
One of the essential things about these plugins is that they integrate with each other very well.
So in answer to your question – yes.
In your product settings page you will find a field called “Reference Text” which is located in the “Additional Products Details” section. Here you can specify the ID of the particular membership level. This will automatically add the buyer of that product to the membership level which you specify in that field.
I recommend you take some time to watch this video tutorial:
PeterMemberHi,
In the eStore Settings page there is a section called “General eStore Settings”.
In there you can specify a link to a page with your customized Terms and Conditions in the field called “Terms & Conditions Page URL”.
Also don’t forget to enable the relevant checkboxes in the “Show Terms & Conditions Checkbox” section immediately below the above field.
PeterMemberHi Robert,
Can you please provide a link to the page which is exhibiting this behaviour so I can take a look?

To answer some of your questions:
1) “..can I offer the same membership access with a different payment option and different price?”
In short no you cannot offer one-time AND subscription payment options for the same product. You will have to create another product where each product is referencing the same membership level.
Note that eStore treats a subscription product differently to a one-time payment product because the PayPal API used for a subscription product is different. Therefore if you are creating a product it has to be either a one time payment product OR a subscription product but cannot be both depending upon user choice.
2) “Will the affiliate commissions work for both payment options if the process can work with both payment options?”
If you create separate products the Affiliate commissions will work for either product.

The following post might explain a bit more:

Upon checking your page’s markup (see link below) there appears to be errors pertaining to the way your theme is constructing tables.
These are some examples of the errors I saw:
Line 305, Column 223: The align attribute on the table element is obsolete. Use CSS instead
Line 305, Column 223: The cellpadding attribute on the table element is obsolete. Use CSS instead.
Line 305, Column 223: The cellspacing attribute on the table element is obsolete. Use CSS instead.
PeterMemberHi,
Can you please check the following to ensure that you haven’t made any configuration errors:
If the above doesn’t solve your issue and your configuration looks ok, can you please install a fresh copy of the latest eMember by using the following instructions:

PeterMemberHi,
You have a few options which you can utilize without having the need for another button:
1) You can set the “Thumbnail Target URL” in your product settings to go to a specific page which will contain more information about your product.
2) You can use the “Product Page URL” in your product settings. In a similar way to 1) this will direct the user to a specific page after they click the product name link
3) You can use “Button Redirect Target URL” to take your buyers to a specific page with more info when they click the add to cart button.
