Sorry if this is a repeat – couldn’t find it previous posts!
I tried to set my default landing page to our main web-page (http://www.healthywage.com/) – but when clicking through an affiliate link, it leads to a blank page.
I have been able to set a different default landing page (http://www.healthywage.com/about-us) and it works fine – but I’d rather they go straight to our home page.
What’s up?
Hi,
Do you have example “affiliate” links you can share with us, both for the working and non working examples?
Hi –
This one works: http://www.healthywage.com/about-us?ap_id=jimbosity
But when we try to set it to link to our home page, this affiliate link does not work: http://www.healthywage.com/?ap_id=jimbosity
Thanks!
Hi,
Which version of WP Affiliate platform are you using?
Also can you please try the following tests to eliminate any potential conflicts from your theme or plugins:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/test-to-identy-a-conflicting-theme-or-plugin
Thanks Peter –
We’re using v4.9.9.2
I tried the theme test – it still did not work.
For plugins we only use WP Affiliate and Askismet.
Standard HTTP GET functionality is not working on this page. For example enter the following and you will see what I mean:
http://www.healthywage.com/?p=1
Is your home page a WordPress page or is it a stand alone HTML page?
Sorry – what do you mean by “Standard HTTP GET functionality is working on this page.”
When I click that link, I am taken to a blank page.
Our home page is not a WordPress page – stand along HTML.
Hi,
I think admin meant to say that standard HTTP GET is “not” working – probably a typo.
If it was working the command that admin gave you at the end of the link, ie, ?p=1 would have queried the wordpress DB and displayed a page but in your case it is not displaying anything.
Your home page is not in WordPress which would be the problem. See this post:
