Lightbox showing additional images

For one product, I have specified the thumbnail URL and then a couple of additional image URL’s in the additional product images.

When I create a new product and I leave the additional product images empty, I am getting the images from the other product included in the lightbox gallery. I think I used the copy product details from an existing product feature to generate the second product but I did clear the additional product images field and save.

Is it picking the other images out of the same folder somehow and can I prevent this?

You can see in the lightbox for the first product it is pulling the image from the second product – as though it is pulling them from a library/folder instead of the plugin settings.

It put the images in to sets and the lightbox effect worked, however it also dropped all of my images in to the product description in full size, instead of just the one image entered as a thumbnail.

I have deactivated the lightbox 2 plugin and have had to change the “eStore_button_display_helper.php” code back to the original.

The code change for the “eStore_extra_product_display_helper.php” and the css mod are still in place and it seems to be working as per the original (without the image sets though of course).

Can you please advise on how I should proceed?

I have made some modification to the lightbox library used by eStore so it allows image set by default (you don’t need to do the hack suggested above anymore). eStore will work with image set on a per product basis by default. Please get a new build of the eStore plugin from here:

That is good and bad news….!

The good news is you have a fix, the bad news is that I am using a modified plugin and I cannot update the version without losing my mods.

Is there a workaround I can try?
