Can Estore free sign ups be added to WP users?

Hi, I am trying to create a very simple workflow where user:

clicks sign up button> goes to landing page detailing all free goodies>registers>gets added to the WP users ( so we can collect for mailing them later)>they get confirmation email with link to a page with all free downloads on.

Can this be done in Estore?I have tried this with Emember too but the sign up process is overly complicated as they have to go back to fill in a second form-which is a bit pointless from a user standpoint.

I also want to enable capture of more data than just name/ email.

Hi,

No I don’t think you can do what you’re specifying with eStore alone. eStore doesn’t add buyers to wordpress.

Using eMember together with eStore is the easiest solution for your scenario.

I recommend that you simply use the Free membership functionality to get people to sign up. Then once they sign up they are prompted to log in and you can automatically redirect your newly signed members to the page of your choice upon login. In your case the page people will be redirected to will be a member-protected page with links to all of the free downloads.
