“We’re running a WordPress website (latest release), and purchased eMember and installed and configured it last wek. We have a subscription set up and linked it up with a Paypal “Buy Now button” just like your instructions say, using the “Advanced” settings for the button with the subscription ID in it, etc. But when we test it by purchasing the subscription through Paypal it does not appear that our site is getting any notification and creating the user account, and emailing the user with a link to set up the rest of their subscription like we get when we use your shortcode for our other free subscription, which works great.
Hi,
Can you please enable debug for the eMember plugin by going to your settings page and then clicking the “Enable Debug” checkbox in the “Testing and Debugging Settings” section.
Then once you’ve enabled debug can you please share the output of the following files:
ipn_handle_debug_eMember.log
and
subscription_handle_debug.log
These log files can be found in:
/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/ipn
