April 19, 2012 at 3:45 am in reply to: eStore – Shortcode Inside Another Shortcode (Shortcode Nesting) Not Working #37814IvyMember
I remember doing some work on your site. Please reply to that email with the access to the site and a link to the page where you have the above shortcodes and I will check it out.
April 19, 2012 at 3:22 am in reply to: Is there a way to have a different "Thank you" page for different products? #44232IvyMemberYes, you can have different “Thank You” pages for different products. You can specify the thank you page URL of a specific product in the “Return URL” field of that product configuration.
Here are the steps:
1) Edit the product in question:
2) Go to the “Buy Now, Subscription or Donation Type Button Specific Settings” section
3) Enter the thank you page URL in the “Return URL” field.
Note: To redirect to different thank you pages you would need to use “Buy Now”, or “Subscription” type Buttons. Here is the reason:
“Add to Cart” type buttons allow the user to checkout multiple items in one go. So if a user purchases 3 items for example in one checkout each pointing to 3 different URLs then the cart will be confused as to where to send the customer after the purchase. Picture yourself checking out 3 items at a time that has 3 different “Thank You” pages specified. Which page would you get redirected to?
If you want to use “Add to Cart Buttons” then maybe what you can do is place links to each form on the thank you page so they can access the ones they need to. You can also place this information in the email that is sent to them.
IvyMemberThe eStore does not have an option for this. The only work around I can think of for this (without having it custom coded)is to put a note on your page that says Hardcover books will not be shipped outside of the United States.
IvyMemberUnfortunately PayPal does not allow you to issue refunds after 90 days you would need to manually send refund. You would need to contact PayPal for anymore information on this and if there is anything you can do to change this.
IvyMemberWhen you say with multiple sites do you mean an install of the eStore on each site? Can you please explain a little about the flow of the sites?
If you are using an install of eStore on each site then you do not need to do anything but set the eStore up as it is explained in the following videos: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-quick-setup-and-usage-video-tutorial-593
Note: you only need to setup the IPN once as the eStore will tell PayPal where to send the information (for each install) this way your PayPal account is not locked into just one site.
IvyMemberThe eStore does not have a in cart variation option at this time. They will need to choose the variation be for it is added to the cart. This has to do with how variations are passed to the payment gateway.
April 15, 2012 at 1:22 am in reply to: WP eStore – How Not to Ask For Shipping Address on PayPal Checkout Page #31945IvyMemberUnfortunately PayPal does not allow you to hide this information for credit card purchase as it needs this to verify the credit card.
April 6, 2012 at 1:52 am in reply to: After Registration Page – Incorrect error stating email address already exists. #43467IvyMemberWhat version of the eMember are you using? I believe an update may help you in this case as our plugins should not have a problem with Thesis Themes. Many of our customers use all of our plugins with this theme. Are you using a skin with Thesis Themes?
Please see the following post on how to get a fresh build of the plugin:

April 6, 2012 at 1:49 am in reply to: Lightbox and Multiple Images (Want to use an image set) #27076IvyMemberI am glad we got this working for you.
IvyMemberHi, I believe you are missing the shortcode for this.
1. You will need the extra shortcodes plugin from here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/wp-estore-shortcodes-and-functions-reference-460
2. Use the following shortcode.
[wp_eStore_download_now_button_with_stamping id=1]
When a logged in member of WP eMember plugin
uses this button to download the the file it will stamp it
using the details from eMember’s member info and
serve the download.
I believe this should fix the issue you are having.
Note: all of the available shortcodes for the eStore can also be found at the link above.
IvyMemberThe following article will explain more about how to export data from the eStore. Make sure to take a look at the video on this page.
IvyMemberMost of the time this happens when PayPal does not get the correct response from your server when it is sending the IPN, so it sends multiple IPNs until it times out (PayPal is thinking the IPN is failing and not reaching your server). You can read more about this and why the eStore processed each IPN that is sent here:
Note One: This should not be happening if you are using the latest version of the plugin as there are checks to prevent this.
What version of the plugin are you using?
Note Two: Some hosting providers delay their emails and this is very common when using their shared hosting as it does not send the notification that the IPN needs to receive for up to 30 minutes.
For more information on email related problems see the following forum post:
IvyMemberWhen I go to the link you sent all the images appear to be working. Let me know if this is not fixed (if still happening please send me a link to where this is happening).
IvyMemberThe following forum post will explain more about what you are looking to do:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/selling-items-for-00-giving-product-for-free
IvyMemberHi, There are a few reason that can cause this to happen. Please see the following forum post as it has a checklist that should fix the issue you are having.
Let me know how it goes.
