Hi, is it possible to have the variations selection box appear in the cart widget instead of by the “add to cart” button? Currently, the user must select a variation and then hit the “add to cart” button to have the product appear in the cart widget. What I would like is that you first press add to cart, and then have the variation box in the cart widget. Is this possible?

The eStore does not have a in cart variation option at this time. They will need to choose the variation be for it is added to the cart. This has to do with how variations are passed to the payment gateway.

    Hello,

I, too, was hoping to get this option so that you can display a multitude of items on a page more cleanly. Is there at least a way to have the variations pop up somewhere else that you can select and then it is added to the cart?

    Thanks! Great plugin!

You may be misunderstanding how variations work. A user needs to select what they are buying when they are about to add the item to the cart. You can’t hide the variations and let them add to the cart then later show them the variations later.

You can always create separate landing pages for each of your products and then enter the buy button on those landing pages. Then on your product index page, you can just put a list of links to each of the detailed product landing page.
