I have also answered your email you sent us regarding this issue. I do not believe it is the multi site that is causing this issue. Since the debug is saying the email was sent this means something after the email leaves the plugin is causing this issue. See the following forum post for more information on this issue:
IvyMemberI just checked your product 4 and it had the image URLs in the “Additional Images” field of the product. I took them out and now this product is not showing the additional image anymore.
IvyMemberIvyMemberThe customer would have to make 2 purchases. PayPal handles recurring subscription payments differently than normal payments so they can not be added to the cart. This is a limitation from PayPal.
IvyMemberHi, It sounds like you are testing the purchase with the same email address that is already in the database (as you are getting the your membership has been updated email this was mentioned in the email you also sent me regarding this). Each membership need to have a unique email address. If you want to test this multiple times you need to delete your previous membership.
Please see this post on how to test the eMember: http://tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/?p=40
Also note that most of our paid plugins have full documentation including how to test them.
You can find a link to each documentation site here: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/
Quick searches of the forum should also have useful information as most problems have been answered here at one time or another
IvyMember1. Make sure you have the following option checked in the Affiliate settings: Send Signup Notification to Admin:
2. What value do you have in your from email address (in the email setting tab of the Affiliate)?
3. What Affiliate view are you using?
January 26, 2012 at 7:11 am in reply to: Customer Not Receiveing Link in Email and Not Being Redirected To Thank You Page #40791IvyMemberI sent you an email regarding this and your other forum post. Let me know if you do not receive this email.
IvyMemberAre you using protect content by categories?
January 26, 2012 at 7:00 am in reply to: How to Create a Password Protected Download Digital Product Page #40991IvyMemberI will send you an email regarding this issue.
IvyMemberIt is the same process if you want to give a membership level away for free with a purchase. You just need to specify the membership level id in the “Reference Text” (eStore product setting). When a purchase happens they will be added to this membership level and a registration email will be sent out along with the purchase emails.
January 26, 2012 at 6:45 am in reply to: Same Product, Two different payment options and prices #41198IvyMemberYou can set the 2nd membership level (new product) with the special price to use the same membership level as the full priced one. You will however still need to create a new product as Peter suggested.
You can have as many payment options as you like pointing to the same membership level. They will however each need to be their own product.
January 25, 2012 at 5:35 am in reply to: How to Create a Password Protected Download Digital Product Page #40989IvyMemberHi,
1. Are you using the PDT method for the thank you page:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/?p=499
If you are using the PDT option and this is still not working do the following.
Run a test transaction with the debug turned on as this will tell you exactly what is going wrong after a payment.
The following forum post will explain when and how to use the debug:
If you need help reading the debug log feel free to share the content of the following three debug files
– ipn_handle_debug.log
– eStore_post_payment_debug.log
– subscription_handle_debug.log
2. If you want to use a protect download page you will need to use the eMember with the eStore for this. You can read more about the eMember here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-membership/
IvyMemberHi, We do not have a bundle for eMember and affiliate. I did not receive any emails from you, I also checked the spam folder. I will send an email to the registered email address(the email you used to make your purchase) now. Please reply to this email.
January 13, 2012 at 5:35 am in reply to: I know I can get this to work with a bit of guidance – Please help #40711IvyMemberHi, Neither one of these options will work. The item that was purchased needs to be delivered either by email on on the thank you page when the purchase is made.
The best way to handle this is as follows.
Customer makes a purchase > redirected to the thank you page with their download links for the first product > upsell on the thank you page that they can purchase.
If you use Buy now buttons you can redirect to different thank you pages, this way you can put specific upsells for the different products you have.
Example:
Product A needs thank you page with upsell B
Product C needs thank you page with upsell D
I believe with all the new pages and redirects after purchase you are trying to do may frustrate your customers. When people make a purchase they usually want to get the item and start using it not go though redirect and upsells. They are usually more willing to buy an upsell if it is not a hassle to it. If I was the customer and had to go though the process you are outlining I would end up closing the browser. There is a really good saying to follow “Keep it simple”.
