This usually happens when PayPal does not receive the proper response from your server when it sends the payment notification and it thinks the message got lost so PayPal keeps sending the notification. Just to verify this… can you please look at your “ipn_handle_debug.log” file and tell me if you have multiple sales entries for the same sales? If so how many?
May 30, 2011 at 12:48 pm #32952kmkruthilaMemberFYI, Paypal IPN history page show the below details,
Notification URL : [http://stockgraphicdesigns.com/?estore_pp_ipn=process]
HTTP response code : 500
Delivery status : Retrying
No. of retries : 11
May 31, 2011 at 12:17 am #32953amin007ParticipantThat’s your issue right there as I suspected earlier:
Notification URL : [http://stockgraphicdesigns.com/?estore_pp_ipn=process]
HTTP response code : 500
Delivery status : Retrying
No. of retries : 11
Please contact your hosting provider and tell them to fix this server setup issue. Simply tell them that when PayPal sends the IPN the server doesn’t reply with the “200 OK” message which it is suppose to do. So PayPal keeps thinking the message did not reach and keeps retrying. When PayPal successfully gets response from your server correctly it will only send one IPN notification per sale. Just out of curiosity… who is your hosting provider?
May 31, 2011 at 12:37 am #32954kmkruthilaMemberOne more question before asking my hosting, did you see our IPN Debug shows, SUCCESS :IPN successfully verified.
Hosting is, Mediatemple.net, dedicated virutual server.
May 31, 2011 at 1:27 am #32955kmkruthilaMembermmmm, mediatemple support says, Dedicated-Virtual Server is a completely customer-managed server. So they can’t help.
can you please take a look at,
I’m test with another paypal sandbox ipn and results shows, IPN validation failed

The problem is that when PayPal tries to send the IPN notification to your server it is not getting the correct response back so it keeps sending the IPN again and again and eStore keep processing it (because that is what it is suppose to do).
To give you some perspective… you can completely deactivate and delete WP eStore plugin from the server for the time being then try to send an IPN (I am guessing you know what IPN is) to your site and the same thing will happen (PayPal will keep retrying because your server is not responding with the correct HTTP code). So, don’t even activate eStore until you have fixed your server setup. Once this server setup issue is fixed, activate eStore and you will see that it works as expected.
Does that make sense?
May 31, 2011 at 2:05 am #32957kmkruthilaMemberI’m testing with another site works well so Plugin itself not a problem. But I’m confusing what is the real problem with my server?
Thanks for your reply.

February 18, 2012 at 5:33 am #32959versluisMember@kmkruthila, Thanks… I had the same issue. Got my hosting to fix the server and now it is working fine.
