ModeratorPlease clarify which notification you are referring to… the one that gets sent to the new member, prompting them to complete their registration; or “something else?”

ModeratorThere are NO SUPPORTED payment processors, that will allow you to process subscriptions, with a separate tax. YOU MUST include the tax, into the cost of your subscriptions. In the product description you can say that the price includes tax.
wzp
ModeratorYes I have and that’s where I read:
Note: Calculating sales tax is not supported for the Subscribe and Automatic Billing buttons.
Tax (and shipping) is added by eStore, BEFORE cart purchases are submitted to ANY of the supported payment processors. Subscriptions and recurring payments for ANY of the supported payment processors, takes the form of a payment “contract” between the buyer and the payment processor. There is no way for eStore to dynamically adjust these amounts.
“In Real Life,” taxes are usually builti into the cost of subscriptions and recurring payments.
What exactly are you trying to sell?

ModeratorThere are only 2 “officially supported” caching plugins:
- WP Super Cache:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/using-the-plugins-together-with-wp-super-cache-plugin - W3 Total Cache:

If you are using any other caching plugin; please examine the configuration guidance for these 2 plugins (see links) and determine if you can similarly configure your caching plugin.

ModeratorBecause the issue seems to be WordPress related; have you tried installing the WordPress 5.8.1 Security and Maintenance Release which came out September 9, 2021?
Also, do the following just to be sure:
September 22, 2021 at 1:49 pm in reply to: How does eMember handle Clickbank recurring membership payments? #83695wzp
ModeratorDoes eMember keep track of the payments for each month, and if a member does not pay or ends their membership, am I notified that they are no longer a member? Does eMember automatically stop their access to the membership area?
The plugin does not keep track of each and every recurring payment. Rather, ClickBank will notify the plugin about the success or failure of expected payments. If ClickBank tells the plugin that it was unable to collect a payment, the plugin will deactivate (default action) a membership; unless you have otherwise what should happen.
When setting up a membership level in eMember, should I choose the expire after 30 days option, or no expiry until cancel option? I didn’t see the answer to this question in the documentation area.
Please read this explanation of how membership levels should be configured for recurring subscriptions.

ModeratorWhat we are asking is… by what means are you importing the additional users? And are you trying to import additional WordPress user accounts, or are you trying to bulk import additional eMember accounts?
wzp
ModeratorYou can customize the EMEMBER_ALPHA_NUMERIC_UNDERSCORE language string message to your liking. Currently it reads:
define('EMEMBER_ALPHA_NUMERIC_UNDERSCORE','Only Letter, Number and Underscore allowed');-

ModeratorTo prevent code injection attacks, WordPress sanitizes usernames. For compatability, so does eMember. The result, is that only ASCII characters can be used for usernames. There are WordPress plugins that change this behavior, but their effects are unsupported by eMember.

ModeratorI’m wondering if the integration of eMember (and possibly eStore) and MailPoet v3 includes the ability to direct eMember Email Broadcasts to bypass our hosting vendor’s email service and be directed instead to use MailPoet’s Sending Service? As long as I’m asking I might as well ask if eMember Registration emails could do that too … and why not throw in eStore email (receipts).
Take a look at the Easy WP SMTP plugin and see if that would help.

ModeratorTHAT is interesting… We’ll be doing some research on PayPal recurring payment limitations. Great work, BTW with discovering this.
wzp
ModeratorShould I try re-installing and updating eStore to its most recent version?
Yes, it is best to eliminate that possibility. You should also check for JavaScript errors on your site.

ModeratorIf you have a handle on WHICH members qualify; you could add them to a “special” membership level that allows them to renew at a special rate. Inclusion in the special membership level would be limited to the length of the campaign. Here is a thread that talks about a similarly related use.

Moderator,,,but when I tried to import the others…
Were you importing these users with the Bulk Member Data Importer Addon?
