Import WP users fail

Hi,
I have succeeded in importing 43 WP Users from controlpanel before, but when I tried to import the others and submit, the member was not added as it didn’t show in the memeber list.

Are you trying to merge existing WP User accounts into an eMember system that already has members? Conflicts may arise if the WP User accounts use email addresses that are already in the membership database. Please refer to this related thread.

No, I didn’t import WP users that already exists in eMember.

Were you importing these users with the Bulk Member Data Importer Addon?

I did have installed profile extended addon, but not Bulk Member Data importer addon.

What we are asking is… by what means are you importing the additional users? And are you trying to import additional WordPress user accounts, or are you trying to bulk import additional eMember accounts?

The ones that didn’t import, can you try one of those records to be imported one by one just to see what error it gives? Is there any error given? It will have a reason for the import to fail for a user record. Potentially you may have another WP eMember member record with the same username or email address (so check for those).

I imported WP user with submit, but it did’t give any error message, but just didn’t show in the member list. I tried to select the user info in the wp_eMember_members_tbl from database, it wasn’t in there.

The problem is that some users I can import, but some I cann’t.

Do the users you can’t import have anything in common?

Thank you for your advice, I find that those users which can’t be added to the eMember list has one thing in common:
they have their profile setting “Display name publicly as” include a part of their name(either first name or last name) instead of the entire name or “nickname(required)”.

When I reset the “Display name publicly as”, it worked well with import user.

I guess it could be a bug in eMember plugin.

What do you mean by “reset,” since that’s a drop-down menu?

I selected fullname or “nickname(required)” for “Display name publicly as” from drop-down menu.
