Membership in our organization starts Jan 1 and expires Dec 31. We would like to be able to send specific customers (only new members and on a case-by-case basis) joining in Aug/September a 30% or 40% discount coupon to be applied to the NEXT membership year (we start signup Oct 1 giving away 3 free months – even to lapsed members). We would like to make this optional because some members are happy to pay the full amount despite joining late in the membership cycle.
I’ve searched and haven’t found anything but it’s entirely possible I’m overlooking an obvious solution.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Steve
If you have a handle on WHICH members qualify; you could add them to a “special” membership level that allows them to renew at a special rate. Inclusion in the special membership level would be limited to the length of the campaign. Here is a thread that talks about a similarly related use.
