wzpModeratorPlease turn on the debug logs. Recreate the error condition and then check the resulting logs; and post them if you want us to review them.
Also, are you using a “real” hosting provider, or are you doing testing on a localhost server?
I am new to your plugin and it has been 1 week now since I purchased it. I am waiting to launch my site but cannot until this issue is resolved.
Our installed base numbers in the hundreds of thousands, over the last 15+ years. I am confident we can resolve your issue; but you need to provide us with the requested debug information.

wzpModeratorHave you personally seen the problem, or is this the description of an issue one of your users is having; but you have not witnessed yourself?
Also, please turn on your debug logs.
wzpModeratorAre you using any page caching plugins or server modules? There are only 2 “officially supported” caching plugins:

April 19, 2023 at 11:54 am in reply to: Require First & Last name with Stipe Payment via Payment Gateway Bundle #84886wzpModeratorAs per the advice of @admin, you must set the minimum checkout requirements in your Stripe account, not in the plugin. Please consult with Stripe, to see if they can provide you with the name on donations.
wzpModeratorHistorically, we only encourage updates, if there is a problem.
The reason is that we don’t like to send emails every few days to give you a little update here and there and break some part of your perfectly working site. Don’t you hate plugins that break after every upgrade? With that said, you could every few months, download an addon and then check the “Version:” header in the main PHP file. That is what I personally do, for both plugins and addons. But for addons, the update cycle could be several months or years, because there is so little code in them that needs fixing.

April 18, 2023 at 5:03 pm in reply to: Require First & Last name with Stipe Payment via Payment Gateway Bundle #84880wzpModeratorThey are donations, so no product at all. Yes we want the name information. Yes they were successful. No I didn’t have debug on. I’ve currently got Stripe off, until I can get the system changed.
They appear to be fraudulent; not sure why they are doing the charges, but they appear to be fake on further review of the payments.
This is a common step, criminals use to validate stolen cards. If the charge goes through, then they hit Amazon or Best Buy, et al, with a large charge. There is no point in you trying to get a name on this kind of transaction; as it would most likely be fake (anyways). Also, prepaid Visa/MC and Green Dot cards, do not have names. Even with legitimate transactions, they don’t validate names; I use an alias with my personal Visa/MC on certain sites, and have never been turned down. It’s all about the numbers.

April 13, 2023 at 4:53 pm in reply to: Require First & Last name with Stipe Payment via Payment Gateway Bundle #84874wzpModerator1. Was this for a digital or physical product; or an eMember registration, or renewal?
2. By any chance, are the debug logs turned on?
3. Did the purchase successfully go through?
4. Is NOT having the purchaser’s name information adversely affecting this sale? For example; they purchased an engraved item.

wzpModeratorThe “…might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address” browser message occurs because your browser is unable to access the website; or that specific page. Since you did not post your domain name in the error message, we are unable to do any checking from this end. My first suggestion is that you at check to see if your domain registration is current, or pointing to where you think it’s supposed to go.
wzpModeratorThere are issues with implementing SMS forms of 2FA. First, you must subscribe to an SMS 2FA service; such as “Authy.” Authy is free for end-users (“you”) but they charge developers (“Tips & Tricks HQ”) on a per-successful authentication cost; plus phone charges. That is not an attractive product model for us.
Alternatively, it may be possible for us to develop a plugin that used Google Authenticator; but again, there is a per-authentication cost.
Would you accept an e-mail 2FA solution?
wzpModeratorIf you are also using our eMember plugin; you can track purchase history and allow members the ability to redownload their purchases:
This is only possible, because you are now requiring purchasers to have membership accounts like Costco, Amazon or eBay.
