I’m not sure why it didn’t work (I used your video actually). You can still use 1.7.4 if you are comfortable with it. The new player is responsive, looks better and works on all major browsers (which is why we had to update it).

It turned out that the video bitrate was too high. Encoding the video with a lower bitrate helped solve this issue.

Hi, I did the following to encode your video in Handbrake:

Output Settings

a) MP4

b) “Web Optimized” option checked

Picture

a) Width: 640

b) Height: 368

c) “Keep Aspect Ratio” option checked

d) Anamorphic: none

e) Modulus: 16

Please note that the “Keep Aspect Ratio” option will show up once when you select “Anamorphic” to “none” (By default it’s set to “loose” which doesn’t allow you to change anything).

It will not be perfect but very close.

@guyassaf, Cloudfront streaming option only works with public video at the moment. If you need to play protected video please take a look at our Amazon S3 documentation for instructions:

Hi, Lightbox Ultimate 1.9.5 won’t work with WordPress 3.8 since jQuery has been also updated to 1.10.2.

Please install a fresh copy of the plugin and see how it goes:

Thanks. So the issue is that the video is not taking up the whole screen? I just checked the metadata of your video. Looks like it was produced with 640×480 which is 4:3.

@sophie1, what is the aspect ratio of your video? Can you take a screenshot of the video in fullscreen so I can clearly see the issue?

You seem to be using a flowplayer plugin. Please deactivate it for now so it doesn’t conflict with Lightbox Ultimate script.

@Edlegs, you really don’t have to discard the theme. You can contact the theme developer to fix those errors. At this moment no lightbox plugin will work on your site if that theme is active.
