Lightbox Ultimate – RTMP Streaming from Amazon S3

Is there a way to use RTMP streaming from Amazon S3 so that my users can position themselves anywhere in a video “on the fly” without having to wait for the whole video to “download”? I have built other sites where I use an RTMP streamer into jwplayer embedded on a page, but it’s not in light-box, and we really like the lightbox functionality.

If you need access to both sites to see what I mean, please send me an email and I’ll give you access to

1) A page streaming content that uses jwplayer in a Joomla site to display an RTMP stream

2) A page that “downloads” content to the FlowMotion player using Lightbox Ultimate.

TIA for any advice/tips on how to set up RTMP streaming into Lightbox Ultimate.

Hi, We don’t have the RTMP streaming option yet. We are working on it using Amazon Cloudfront and Flowplayer.

Thanks for the info. I’ll keep an eye on new releases. I realize you can’t commit to release dates, but hopefully we’re talking weeks instead of months…

I would really love to see this. I’d also pay extra for another add on which would give you good statistics of the videos using the ability of CloudFront to create log files for video plays.

the video define as public and the Lightbox setting define to use amazon 3s.

It seems like Lightbox do not familiar with this shortcode.

Also this is a compromise since I need my video to be protected and from what I read Lightbox does not support it.

Do you mind to recommend how to stream protected video even if Lightbox does not support it ?
