ModeratorIs there any way that the stamped pdf cannot be unlocked by this service?
No. The reason is because the PDFs are being encrypted using the “standard” Adobe PDF encryption, which unfortunately can always be tinkered by someone who is determined. The only solution is a “legal one,” but I doubt that you have the fortitude or monetary ability to pursue a legal solution.
August 10, 2021 at 3:23 pm in reply to: Payment Plan (aka Subscription) with a Variable total #83497wzp
ModeratorThe problem with subscriptions in general; is the buyer is able to cancel them, at will. Subscriptions are best suited for products that grant access to information, that can be “turned off” if the buyer cancels the subscription. I think what you are trying to do is an “installment plan” type of payment, that can’t be cancelled by the buyer:
Please note, this only works on a per-product basis; you can’t do this on a cart full of items. Also, the payments can only be fixed amounts.wzp
Moderator…I need a questionnaire just before paying out…
“Paying out?” Are you referring to the Affiliate Platform or eStore? What do you mean by “Paying Out???”

- Check the Stamped PDF file folder, to see if the file was stamped.
- Were any thank you pages, or seller emails, triggered?
- It is possible the IPN processing is not correctly configured.
Now… as far as the existing situation is concerned. If you indeed received the correct amount in your PayPal account, and the Affiliate Platform agrees with what you’d expect to see; the chances are that a sale did indeed occur. Simply manually stamp the PDF file and send the link to the customer.

ModeratorNo. Perhaps you might want to inquire about having custom work done, so that your original request can be accommodated. Include a reference to this forum thread and a developer will get back to you.

ModeratorHave you “tried?” Coupon stacking works, at the expense of some protections that would normally prevent coupon abuse.

ModeratorHave you taken a look at our Form Builder Addon for eMember? It does support hidden fields.
wzp
ModeratorI know the PayPal API will tell the eMember plugin that the subscriber has cancelled, but can the plugin tell PayPal to cancel?
No, the plugin cannot cause PayPal to cancel a subscription; UNLESS you are using the Payment Gateway Bundle.
wzp
ModeratorOnly ONE discount is allowed at a time. In your case, the free item OR free shipping. To support what you’d like to do; you need to enable “coupon stacking.”
wzp
ModeratorWhich of these 3 redirection options are you using? Option 1 overrides everything else; option 2 overrides the third option. It sounds like you have option 1 configured.

ModeratorPlease perform this check, to see if you are experiencing PHP session issues.
And also perform this check, for JavaScript problems.

ModeratorPDF Stamper only works with local files; meaning you can’t store the originals on S3.

ModeratorDoes the “stamped file” in the error message actually exist? Each time a the file gets stamped, a new “stamped file” is created.
Are you able to manually stamp the original file?

Moderator‘Sorry your download was not working here is a fresh link valid for 48hrs’
LOL, that looks exactly like the “free gift card” spam I get on my phone… that automagically gets shoved into the spam folder.

ModeratorSometimes, just the wording in an email body is enough to trigger a spam filter. Wording like “for our valued customers, here is a link to our latest product…” is less likely to get put into a spam folder than “Here is a link to the latest and greatest thing you’ve ever heard.”
