Seasons Greetings!
Included a Profile Image field in my registration form using Form Builder. The Profile Image icon and UPLOAD button appear as advertised on the admin edit profile and member edit profile pages, but images can only be uploaded on the admin edit profile page, not on the member edit profile page. The UPLOAD button on the member edit profile page opens the finder but nothing happens when I select and open the file; the finder just closes and nothing changes on the member edit profile page. Any way to permit logged-in members to upload an image from their member edit profile page, so I don’t need to do it for them from my admin console?
The Enable Profile Thumbnail Image box is checked in the eMember PAGES/FORMS Settings section.
Also, any way to display the same profile image on the member detail page of the Member Profile Extended addon? Tried adding the profile_image tag to the shortcode, but didn’t work, and nothing shows in the Profile Image field when I download the member database to CSV. Any suggestions?
Finally, what formats are acceptable for the profile image upload (jpg, png, etc.), and what are the maximum image dimensions for each size: small, medium and large?
Thank you in advance for your help.

December 26, 2020 at 5:35 pm #82184adminKeymasterThe edit profile will of-course allow the members to upload their profile photos (which then gets used by emember where applicable). It is likely that there are some JavaScript errors on the front-end of your site which is preventing the profile photo uploader to not work.
Use the technique shown in the following page to see if you have any JavaScript errors on the front-end of your site:
Let me know if you see any JS errors or not.
jpg, png is acceptable for the profile photo. It doesn’t put any limit on the dimension of the photo.

August 19, 2021 at 8:30 am #83537tina7ParticipantHi, I am trying to set up my new systems, I can’t find the “form builder” you mentioned. I have estore, affiliates, emember . I have the member profile extended plug in, have created my profile pages with the shortcodes, but I can’t find where to upload a picture at all. I just have a grey avatar on all forms. Can someone tell me what I am missing? Is there an extra plugin I need to add it?
August 19, 2021 at 5:23 pm #83538wzpModeratorAre you looking for this addon?
August 22, 2021 at 7:18 am #83539tina7ParticipantThe forms are fine as they are, I am talking about the e members area, and the social profile add on, They include a greyed out icon for a gravitar/pic but I can’t figure out how to change it.
August 22, 2021 at 7:26 pm #83540wzpModeratorThere is an option for members to upload a profile picture. Please enable this option from the following area of eMember:
WP eMember Settings -> Pages/Forms Settings -> Edit Profile Form Fields -> Enable Profile Thumbnail image
Otherwise, use the gravatar.com site.
Please note: The eMember profile picture is not linked with the WP avatar as it cannot push a profile photo to the Gravatar.com site.
