First up, why don’t you try downloading a fresh install of the latest eStore plugin and see how things go from there.

PeterMemberThe most ideal test would be to actually make a payment so that the whole call scenario is triggered.
Why don’t you temporarily set the price to something very low – such as $0.01?
PeterMemberHi,
I understand that PayPal changed their menus around recently. Have you tried using their help menu to search for what you are looking for?
For instance I just tried this and I can find the page you are looking for. Try clicking on “Profile” and then “My Selling Tools”. Then in the top section called “Selling Online” you should be able to see a link labeled as “GST” or “VAT” or something to do with tax . Mine says “GST” because I’m in Australia but yours may be the same or something slightly different.
PeterMemberHi,
You can apply regional/international tax when using the eStore plugin with PayPal.
The following post contains the info you require:
PeterMemberHi,
Which shopping cart are you referring to?
Can you please send a link to your site which contains the shopping cart you want to change so that I’m on the same page?
Regarding adding the words “Checkout” before the PayPal button, I am aware that one of the current PayPal buttons actually has the word “checkout” inside it, ie, it reads “Checkout with PayPal”.

In answer to your questions:
1) “is there some way to make the “Collect Customer Input” required?”
Yes you can – by applying some tweaks. Please see this post:
2) “is there a way to change the “Check out with Paypal” button image?”
I’m assuming you’re referring to the manual checkout button is that right?
If so then yes you’ll have to replace the image in the plugin’s image directory.
PeterMemberHave you entered the correct ID of your membership level in your product’s configuration in eStore?
That is, in your eStore product configuration there is a field called “Reference Text” which can be found in the “Additional Product Details” section. In this field you must enter the ID value of your membership level – this will be an integer value which you can get by clicking the “Membership Level” link in the eMember control panel which will list your membership levels.
PeterMemberThere’s another test you should try. To eliminate the possibility that your WP theme or other plugins may be conflicting with the eStore plugin, please follow the instructions in the link below:

PeterMemberHi,
Yes it is possible to allow a client to specify price.
See this link for more info:
PeterMemberHi,
Watch the video in the link below and it will explain exactly how it’s done.
This video will walk you through how to use MySQL to modify the price of all eStore products at once. The same principle applies for modifying the AWeber list or any other field or database table.
November 16, 2011 at 4:01 am in reply to: Clickbank: "Secret key or source file information is not present in the request" #38554PeterMemberMake sure to use the same secret key that you specified in the settings menu of this product.
You may have to change your default destination directory in your plugin settings.
Somebody else had a similar issue which they solved by changing this. See last entry in this post:

You haven’t added a shopping cart shortcode anywhere on your site. Checking the video tutorials first is a good place to start:

November 16, 2011 at 12:40 am in reply to: Email Process re: Manually Approve Member Registration #38532PeterMemberOne suggestion is that you can modify the wording of the email so that it explains to your prospective members that their membership will be activated after a review process.
