I have about 600 products set up in eStore currently. I have just decided to switch from MailChimp to Aweber for email service. When I set the products up I didn’t realize that there may be different list naming rules between the two, I was thinking that I would just create a list for with the same name, and only have to change one setting. Well, Aweber won’t let me use the name that I have set up for all of my products, so that’s a problem.
Is there a way that I can mass edit all products to the new list name?
I kept a detailed spreadsheet of every product created, so I thought about just resetting and re uploading, but I am a little nervous about that, plus I made a mistake on one mass upload, so there is a big gap at one point in the product numbering.

My issue revolves around editing a number of products at once. Is there a way to get into the existing database and edit without going through each product individually in the WP dashboard?
It sounded like the person in that post was importing with MySQL somehow, can this method be used to edit the database? If so, how would i get in there?
Thanks

Watch the video in the link below and it will explain exactly how it’s done.
This video will walk you through how to use MySQL to modify the price of all eStore products at once. The same principle applies for modifying the AWeber list or any other field or database table.

1. Can I use export to the excel based CSV file, and skip the google docs step, or is it still best to do the text based file and take it to google docs for some reason?
2. Will the export/import retain the product numbers that I have? I have a block of products that were removed, and so my product numbers have a gap.
Thanks again!

Yes definitely – doing it via excel is another equally good option. The google docs example was just a suggestion. As long you have a way of modifying and then saving the CSV file in the correct format it doesn’t matter which way you do it.

Yes all of your product details (including the product ID) will be exactly as they were except for the parts which you modify in the step above.
