It’s a very random thing. The file type is set properly in the eStore but sometimes this still happens on a few servers. Unless you get an email about it I don’t think you need to. I get 1-2 email about ever 3-4 months that this has happened. If you want to drop a line in the email that gets sent out you can but this is up to you.

Hi RevTrev, Sometime Mac users experience this for some strange reason. All you need to do is download the file and change the “.HTML” to “.zip” and this should take care of the issue.

There is also about a 19 hour time difference between us and the US East Coast we try to answer every email, comment, forum post and other forms of contact within 24 hours of receiving it.
Hi, We use Vimeo for our videos they made some changes last night (HTML5) and this caused an issue with the plugin we use to show our videos. This has been fixed, please try the videos again.

Update: The following comment is outdated as PayPal have now changed this. Auto redirect is required to enable PDT feature in PayPal.
When “Auto Redirect” is turned on PayPal does not post the data needed by the eStore to display the links on the “Post Payment/Thank You Page”. PayPal only sends this information when the “Return to Merchant button or link is clicked. Remember the eStore will never display or send out the links if the sale can not be fully verified.

Hi Jan, WP eStore uses PayPal to process the subscription payment.If the customer use their Credit Card in their PayPal account then yes it will deduct the recurring monthly charge from a credit card.
If you want to separately accept credit card for subscription (without going via PayPal) then that option is not available.
Update: You can do onsite subscription processing using Authorize.net ARB (automated recurring billing) if you have the payment gateway bundle:

Hi, Affiliate commission will be awarded on sales for the lifetime of the cookie (as long as the cookie is set.
Example:
If you set the cookie for 30 days then commission will be awarded for purchases that the customer makes within 30 days of the cookie being set.
If want the affiliate commission to be awarded for a longer period of time you need to change this to meet your needs. You can change how long the cookie is valid in the settings menu of the plugin.
