I’ve been using WP Shopping cart for some time. Excited to purchase WP Affiliate and Membership Plugins. Got the links on the Thank You page and the automated email but both place are downloading html files, not the zipped ones. Can anyone help?
In the add new product page, or edit product page, there is the field to add correct url link address to the product zip file. Did you place the address there and saved the settings? It should work.
Hi RevTrev, Sometime Mac users experience this for some strange reason. All you need to do is download the file and change the “.HTML” to “.zip” and this should take care of the issue.

It’s a very random thing. The file type is set properly in the eStore but sometimes this still happens on a few servers. Unless you get an email about it I don’t think you need to. I get 1-2 email about ever 3-4 months that this has happened. If you want to drop a line in the email that gets sent out you can but this is up to you.
I just found out that you have to write http://www. in the field for download url (digital content details)and not only www.

Hi Anders, Thank you for your suggestion. I will try this out and see if it fixes the issue we have from time to time.
I purchased the affiliate plugin via e check and it was taking ages to clear. I don’t know why it wouldn’t let me use my paypal balance, but that is a side issue.
I just checked my email today and found my link, but it had expired! So anyway, aI replied to the email address there asking for the link for my purchase again and I am hoping this will be forthcoming.
