It sounds like a PHP version issue. You will need to contact your hosting company have have them update your PHP to 5.0 or higher. Using an older version of PHP is also a security risk for you site. It should take your hosting company about 5 minutes to update your PHP.
Please let us know if you have the problem after you have done this.

IvyMemberHi, You will need to use a payment processing plugin such as eStore, eCommerce, etc… You can not just use a Paypal button as Paypal does not allow you to add the small amount of code you need to so the commission can be awarded.
The following post will tell you more about 3rd party integration: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/integrating-the-wp-affiliate-software-with-a-3rd-party-plugin-61
You can also find out more information about the carts that can be integrated with the Affiliate Platform here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/

IvyMemberHi, From what Paypal is saying there is an error with the email address “We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller.” I did some research on this and there are a few things to check from what the information I found says.
1.) If you are using a subscription you need to make sure the from email address is the same as your paypal email address.
2.) If you are using a business account you need to make sure you have the business name specified in the Paypal profile.
3.) Make sure you do not have your Paypal sandbox email address entered in by mistake.
4.)Are you using a plugin that hides your email address or cloaks it?
Please have a look at these things and let me know if they fix the problem.
Can you please post a link to where this is happening?
Also what version of the plugin are you using?
Cheers,
Ivy
IvyMemberHi Sunny and Tink, You can not have a drop down menu as Paypal handles subscription payments a little different then normal purchases. I would suggest Tink’s option for this.

IvyMemberHi, You will need to look at the debug file this should tell you what is happening. Please see the following post for more information on this: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/how-and-when-to-enable-debug-and-what-does-it-do
If you need help reading the debug file feel free to post it for us to take a look at.
You should not have to wait for the debug file as the information should be written to the file as soon as the transaction has completed.
Let me know how it goes.

IvyMemberHi, Can you please post a link to where this problem is happening so we can take a look at it?

IvyMemberHi Matt, This can not be done as Paypal will not allow a 0 priced item to be processed, this will create an error when you go to checkout.

IvyMemberHmmm… I just tested this and it worked fine for me. Are you by chance using a caching plugin? Try testing this in a different browser as it might be cached.
