Purchased eMember for a simple subscription service we are providing and wanted to find out if integration to paypal is only supported through eStore. Does Simple WP Shopping Cart integrate with eMember?February 23, 2010 at 12:15 am #18358
Yes, you can use a simple PayPal button (e.g. Buy Now or Subscribe) as long as you know about the PayPal’s IPN feature. I will provide you with the IPN handling script so all you have to do is use that script from your button. I will send you an email to explain more.March 10, 2010 at 3:15 am #18359
My issue is related to this and I am wondering if this is the same solution. I have a sales page for our subscription already prepared with a Paypal button. The sales page obviously does not have a registration form on the sales page and prefer that would happen after they paid ie in the Thank You page.
I did but eStore but I would prefer not to have to re-create the Sales Page if at all possible. Can you advice as to the best way.

Not sure what you mean with this sentence “I did but eStore but I would prefer not to have to re-create the Sales Page if at all possible”March 11, 2010 at 10:27 am #18361
Sorry – typo what I meant to say
Along with eMember I also bought eStore as part of the package but given that I already have a good sales page created I would prefer not to have to re-create this sales page in WordPress. The sales page that I have is just straight HTML.
Hope this makes sense nowMarch 12, 2010 at 12:07 am #18362
“The sales page that I have is just straight HTML” – that’s fine simply use a plain paypal button on that page for payments then. This instruction should tell you what to do:March 26, 2010 at 3:52 am #18363
Thanks for the info – sorry for the long delay but was on holidays. The only thing missing is the script – I looked in the ./wp-eMember/ipn/eMember_handle_paypal_ipn.php and in the plugin there is no ipn sub-directory nor I could find the scrip anywhere else.
Can you please send it.

Thanks Ivy, I have not received the e-mail – yes, I did check the spam box and the usual spots where things get filtered to. Can you please give it another go
