Hello,
How can I use the affiliate plug-in if I just created a buy-now button inside pay pal? How will it track clicks?
Thanks,
Derek
Hi, You will need to use a payment processing plugin such as eStore, eCommerce, etc… You can not just use a Paypal button as Paypal does not allow you to add the small amount of code you need to so the commission can be awarded.
The following post will tell you more about 3rd party integration: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/integrating-the-wp-affiliate-software-with-a-3rd-party-plugin-61
You can also find out more information about the carts that can be integrated with the Affiliate Platform here: http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/
Cheers,
Ivy
Hi Ivy,
I corrected the problem – Thanks. Do you know why it distorts my image when I use a custom image for the buy-button? Thanks.
Sorry, wrong forum. I was referring to your eStore plugin I purchased.
This usually has to do with the CSS of your theme or you are using a image that is smaller then the image size of the button. Please see the following post to learn more about the CSS issue: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/add-to-cart-button-not-display-correctly#post-805
Let me know how it goes
Cheer,
