There should at least be some debug log that that says that the convertkit addon is trying to do something. At the moment I am not seeing anything in the log. Normally that happens when the addon is deactivated or the WP eStore product itself doesn’t have a “sequence” specified in the autoresponder section. I will check your site’s configuration to see what I can find. I have sent you an email for it.
adminKeymasterHi Chrissy,
Using the section protection shortcode to wrap the download now button is the preferred solution for this. The section protection shortcode can be configured so it shows one section for members and then a different section for non-members.
We don’t have an existing solution for what you are asking for in terms of the eStore members only download addon. It will need a custom development job for this. If you are interested, use this form:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/need-custom-work-done
I have also emailed you the download links for the update.
adminKeymasterEnable the debug logging option in the emember plugin. Then do a password reset action and check the log file. Does the log file show that it executed the email sending action for that? If it shows the following line in the log file then the plugin is executing the password reset email:
Member password reset email sent to ....
The issue will be email delivery related. The following post will be helpful for that:
July 3, 2020 at 2:21 am in reply to: Email Account Appearing on PayPal Confirmation After Purchase With Simple Cart #80757adminKeymasterThat is the email that is sent by PayPal. PayPal doesn’t let us customize that email. You need to contact PayPal for anything regarding that default receipt email that PayPal sends.
Our plugin will ONLY pass the email address that you specify in this plugin’s settings menu. In the “Paypal Email Address” field of the settings. You specify whatever email you want to use and that is the email our plugin will pass to PayPal. The rest is controlled by PayPal based on the account’s configuration.
You will most likely need a PayPal business account to be able to customize the email address shown on PayPal’s default receipt email. PayPal also doesn’t want someone to create fake emails to show to customers and hide behind that. So they show the primary email address of the account I believe. Anyway, this is how PayPal works when you want to use PayPal. You will need to get in touch with them and ask them how you can customize the buyer’s receipt email sent by PayPal.
July 2, 2020 at 12:38 am in reply to: Email Account Appearing on PayPal Confirmation After Purchase With Simple Cart #80755adminKeymasterLet me first understand which email you are talking about. Go to the following settings interface in the plugin:
Simple Cart -> Settings -> Email Settings
Are you talking about those notification that are sent after a sale (we call them the “sale notification” email)? This email is customization from that email configuration settings interface.
Or are you talking about the email that comes from PayPal that PayPal sends. That email will have the “From Email Address” value of xxxx@paypal.com. Thats an standard receipt email that paypal sends after a payment. This email is not customizable since it comes directly from paypal as a payment notification (to both the buyer and the seller).
Also, are you talking about an email that the buyer receives or an email that the seller (the site admin) receives?
You can upload the screenshot to your site and post the URL. Then it can be deleted after we have checked it.
adminKeymasterThis “notice” won’t cause any functionality issue. I have updated the order management addon to take care of it though. Please download a new copy of that addon now and use it. You shouldn’t see that notice anymore.
adminKeymasterThank you. We have made another update for it. Please update the iDEAL addon again and it should be resolved this time.
adminKeymasterPlease post a URL to the page where the payment button is so we can inspect a couple of things.
adminKeymasterWe have made a couple of changes to the addon that should help. Please upgrade the iDEAL addon now and let me know if you see the same issue after that.
adminKeymasterYour server’s timezone will be different than your own timezone (the customer’s timezone will be different also). It’s normally best to put one day of buffer for the coupon expiry data so a prospective customer doesn’t miss out on the opportunity.
adminKeymasterPlease note that this is not an advertised feature of our plugin. Some users used it in the past but this is not something that is an official integration.
adminKeymasterLet me discuss this with Alexander. I will give you an update after that.
adminKeymasterI have applied a fix for that. Please do the following:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
adminKeymasterWhat value do you have in the following settings page of eStore? That one controls how many entries goes on each page:
WP eStore settings -> Products Per Page Limit
Most like you have entered a value of 20 there so it is showing 20 products then going to the next page.
type=0 is not a valid property for that shortcode but if you are using it for some other reasons thats fine. However, that property has nothing to do with the “items per page” issue.
adminKeymasterThe product ID should not be 0 there. If you go to the plugins menu, do you see the ideal addon and the stripe payments addon both upto date? Or is there an update available?
Enable the debug option in the stripe plugin. Then share the debug log file’s content so we can see if there is any clue there:
