You are using the wrong shortcode there. You are currently using the shortcode of the “add to cart” button (which are one time payment buttons).
Please review the following post for some general information that should be helpful for you:
If you want to create PayPal subscription button, you need to use the shortcode explained here:
How to Add/Create a Subscription Button for Recurring Payment
If you want to create Stripe subscription button, you need to use the configuration explained on the following page (there is a subscription section on that page):
adminKeymasterYes, after you make the correction/change in the profile, their “Start date” will change automatically in the future when they make another new payment.
You can use the bulk update “start date” option as explained in the following documentation:
How to Bulk Update Member’s Start Date and Membership Level with WP eMember
adminKeymasterWe will send you an email.
adminKeymasterImport those WP users into emember (instead of trying to create new entries):
adminKeymasterWhich subscription button button are you using? The PayPal one or the Stripe one?
We have a few different ways that people setup the subscriptions so I need to know what you did. Post the URL of the documentation that you followed to set it up.
If you are talking about Stripe subscription, did you use our WP eStore plugin or the Stripe payments plugin to set it up?
Post the URL of the page where you have the subscription button so I can inspect it.
adminKeymasterIf you change things in the middle, you also need to adjust the “Subscription Starts” field’s value of the member profiles. Otherwise if the Subscription Starts field’s value of a profile is 1st January, 2018 and your duration is 31 days, then that means that account has expired (based on the conditions you have now set). So you need to adjust all the correct parameters.
Read the following documentation:
adminKeymasterI checked multiple videos on that page using the latest version of Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. The videos work fine for me (I have checked it multiple times). So this is very strange. What version of Firefox browser are you using to test?
I have sent you a screenshot of my test via email so you can see what I am seeing.
I do see caching on your site. Are you clearing cache after you create the test case? If we are seeing two different versions of your site (one cached and one not), then there can be discrepancies.
adminKeymasterI checked the page just now using the Google chrome browser. The videos open in lightbox correctly for me. Do you have some kind of caching issue?
February 14, 2021 at 3:59 pm in reply to: Translate message after max downloads has been reached #82537adminKeymasterYou can reply back to our email and attach the language file.
adminKeymasterThe slug or URL of the cart pages should be different though. The “Title” may say cart but you can just remove that page from your navigation and edit the title to say something else. Don’t change the “Slug” or “URL” of the page. Then both plugins should keep working with the checkout process.
adminKeymasterLooks like you have got a bit of strange setup with WP. Why does it go to the following URL?
[jovannelsen.de/jvn/wordpress]
Do you have like multiple WordPress installs on this domain? Is the WP installed on the root folder or inside a sub-folder?
Go to the “General Settings” menu of your WordPress install. What value do you have in the following two fields?
WordPress Address (URL)
Site Address (URL)
adminKeymasterLooks like you have the “Email” field twice on this form. That will cause an issue. If you need to collect another email address, it needs to be a text field with a slight different name for the field.
This custom form that you have is a little bit messed up so you need to delete this form and re-create a new form.
1) Create a NEW form with default fields. Just save the newly created form without any changes.
2) Test the registration and profile page.
3) Does everything work fine?
4) If it does, then you can start editing the forms slowly. Tip: Don’t delete, move and change too many things at once. Make small changes and test.February 8, 2021 at 8:48 pm in reply to: Can I have two related users sign up via one membership registration? #82496adminKeymasterNo, that cannot be done unfortunately. This is not an advertised feature of our plugin.
adminKeymasterUse the 4th option explained in the following page:
That should have the best result. Then you can apply some more CSS tweaks via the following interface of your site:
Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS
If things look too odd, then there is likely a theme conflict. Do the following test:
adminKeymasterBest to take a look at all the settings on this site. We will send you an email for this.
