    Hi there,
I’ve installed latest version of WP eStore, followed the instructions for settings; setup a product and wanted to test the checkout process via PayPal.

With the eStore checkout I’m facing the following problem:
    Add to cart: fine
    Cart: fine
Click on PayPal logo for payment: I’m recieving this error message:

Your shopping cart is empty. Please add an item to your cart. You can load the checkout page and make sure the shopping cart is not empty.
    Go to Products Page
If you are the admin of this site and you are certain that the shopping cart is not empty then the PHP Session on your server is not working correctly. Please check this article

Yesterday I deactivated all plugins – still the same error. Checked with various browsers (always cleared cache) – error remains.

Here the technical data of the site
    [jovannelsen.de/digital-shop]
    Wordpress: 5.2.9
    Theme: Enfold 4.5.7
    PHP: 7.2.34

Before working with WP eStore, I had Simple Shopping Cart plugin installed, everything worked fine there.

    your assistance is being appreciated.
    Thanks & best regards
    Katharina

Please perform this test procedure to determine if you are experiencing PHP session issues.

Looks like you have got a bit of strange setup with WP. Why does it go to the following URL?

    [jovannelsen.de/jvn/wordpress]

Do you have like multiple WordPress installs on this domain? Is the WP installed on the root folder or inside a sub-folder?

Go to the “General Settings” menu of your WordPress install. What value do you have in the following two fields?

    WordPress Address (URL)

    Site Address (URL)
