ModeratorCan you please tell me if it is possible to use nested content protection, as indicated in reply #63752 above?
In order for the solution to work, you must have multiple (stacked) membership levels turned on.

Try replacing the body text with the word “disabled“

February 11, 2021 at 5:09 pm in reply to: Can I skip registration email and just have member reg. after payt? #82520wzp
ModeratorThe reason for the email registration link, is that after the payment is processed; there can be a delay of up to several minutes; before eMember is told the payment was successful, via the IPN notification. 70% of the time, the delay is negligible, but 30% of the time, the user might be waiting several minutes for the payment approval to be processed. The delay is caused by a combination of Internet traffic delays and payment processing delays.
Alternatively, you can use the free membership signup process; in which members first register for a free account and then upgrade to a paid account. In this scenario, the member makes their payment last, and then; when the payment is approved, eMember silently upgrades their free account, to the selected paid level.

ModeratorUnfortunately, it cannot be easily done. For one thing, payment processing for memberships is tied to email addresses; ditto for renewals and expirations.
If they are using Gmail addresses, they can create aliases, by inserting 1 or more “.” period characters into a normal Gmail address. Gmail counts doe.family and doefamily as the same address, but eMember and PayPal, et al, count them as 2 unique addresses.
And if they are using Outlook or Hotmail email addresses, they can create alternative email aliases, that point to the same inbox.

ModeratorIf you are selling the memberships using our eStore plugin, you can use the Dynamic Coupon Addon to issue discount coupons for a second membership.

ModeratorFebruary 8, 2021 at 6:04 pm in reply to: Assigning multiple memberships via Woocommerce addon #82490wzp
ModeratorThat is not supported, because of the way membership levels are created; during post purchase processing. You could instead, create a single “Bundled” membership level, that is given access to the same pages as levels 2, 4, and 6.
wzp
ModeratorIf you set the “Membership Duration” field to “no expiry or until cancelled” then it will expire the account when the subscription is cancelled (“until cancelled” means it will expire when the subscription is cancelled or expired). Note: this setting is independent of the subscription terms you setup for the payment button(s). They would still be set for 31 days.
