ModeratorI will do some investigation on this so you can display Amazon S3 protected video using html5. Once I found a solution I will get back to you.

ModeratorIf you want to display only the video from that page I suggest you use the inline html feature. Simply copy and paste the html code for the video and place it between <div> and </div>. For example –
[wp_lightbox_anchor_text_inline_html_overlay div_id=”12345″ text=”click here to open the html content”]
<div id="12345" class="lightbox_ultimate_fp_overlay" style="width:640px;height:480px;">
<object id="scPlayer".......>
Your embed code goes here
</object>
</div>I checked it on my test site. So it should work fine.
If you have multiple videos on the same page you need to use a different ID from each div. Also make sure that the width and height of the object match with the width and height of the <div>. This is so the embedded video nicely fit on the overlay window (In my example I already fixed the width and height of the object). Let me know how it goes.

ModeratorPlease try the shortcodes from the “1. HTML Page Content Display in overlay”(under “HTML Overlay Display Settings”) section of the shortcode reference guide –
Let me know how it goes.

ModeratorI’m glad that you got it working
wpCommerce
ModeratorWe have updated the shortcode reference guide so you shouldn’t have issue with copying the shortcode anymore. Besides there is a “shortcode inserter” button in the visual editor which you can use to insert shortcode to a post/page directly.

ModeratorNice to hear that you got it working
wpCommerce
ModeratorYour shortcode is working fine on my test site. So that’s not the issue. Please do the following things –
1. Get a recent build of the plugin and do a fresh install.
2. Switch to the default WordPress theme and use the shortcode.
Let me know know how it goes.

ModeratorHi, What shortcode are you exactly using to display Youtube video in overlay?
Lightbox Special doesn’t use the jquery library to display any type of media in overlay but prettyPhoto does (That’s why the pdf overlay is working). So it would be better to keep whatever is including the following jquery library deactivated for the time being –
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3/jquery.min.js"></script>We want to rule out every possibility to troubleshoot this issue.
Can you please get a recent build of the plugin and see if it changes anything –

ModeratorI think it’s because Lightbox Special is using the same “rel” attribute that eStore uses to trigger the popup effect. Can you please keep the “Enable Lightbox effect on Images” option unchecked from eStore General Settings? That way they won’t conflict with each other.

ModeratorYes, You can display multiple images/videos as a gallery with prettyPhoto. Please have a look at the “Display Image/Video Gallery with prettyPhoto” section (under
PrettyPhoto) of the shortcode reference guide for more details –
wpCommerce
ModeratorCan you please post a link to the page where you are having the issue?

ModeratorEven if you pass title in the shortcode the title doesn’t get displayed as colorbox doesn’t have the option to display title for that shortcode (Image display in overlay from an anchor Image). We already have a fix for that shortcode so that It no longer takes title as a parameter.
If you want to use the updated version of the shortcode please get a recent build of the plugin from here:
PrettyPhoto shortcodes have the option to display both the title and alt tags. So I’d recommend you to use it.

ModeratorI didn’t mean that the version you are using is old. I wanted to rule out the possibility that somehow your plugin files got corrupted. A fresh installation always helps with that.
Anyway, I have a suspicion that probably your theme is not doing the “wp_footer” call (which every WordPress theme should do). So the necessary javascript codes for overlay display are not being included on that page.
Can you please switch to the default WordPress theme (as it’s a properly coded theme) to see if it changes anything? The following post will help you with the theme testing –

ModeratorYou don’t have any javascript conflict on that page (which is good). But I don’t see the prettyPhoto javascript code which actually triggers the overlay display. Please do me a favour. Get a recent build of the plugin from here –
Deactivate and completely delete the old version and install the new one. Check the “Enable PrettyPhoto” checkbox from the settings. Refresh the page (which contains the shortcodes) couple of times so that the old javascript is not cached. Now try clicking the Image to see if the overlay display works.
let me know how it goes.
