I am able to get my Quicktime movies playing just fine in Lightbox. But my client wants a photo section with lightbox as well. When i turn on the library settings for “Pretty Photo” then the quicktime no longer works…. there ‘s a conflict. I’ve seen sites where both are working on the same website. Please help! (Also i cheated and put the url for a jpg instead of the .mov file in the Special Mov shortcode…. it worked! but then i can’t click NEXT and PREV to look through multiple pictures.)
thanks!

July 29, 2011 at 6:36 am #34844wpCommerceModeratorHi, please provide the following details –
1. The exact shortcodes you are using.
2. A link to the page where you have the shortcodes embedded.
3. The version of the plugin you are using.
July 29, 2011 at 10:47 pm #34845dylzMemberOK, thanks, actually I just realized that the prettyPhoto setting doesn’t work no matter what. Before i thought it only worked when Special Mov setting was turned off. So both are now turned on in the Settings, Special works, PrettyPhoto doesn’t.
Version: WP Lightbox Ultimate 1.3.3
pretty Shortcode:
[wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_image link=”http://www.bakedfx.com/web_new/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/pro.jpg” description=”overlay
image description goes here” source=”http://www.bakedfx.com/web_new/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/thumb_will.jpg” title=”overlay image
title goes here”]
special shortcode (in case it matters):
[wp_lightbox_special_mov_video link=”http://www.bakedfx.com/internal/reels/current/bfx_vfxreel_currentweb.mov” width=960 height=540
source=”http://www.bakedfx.com/web_new/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/shields.jpg” title=”La-z-boy”]
And here’s the site, with all of these examples on one page: http://www.bakedfx.com/web_new/about-us
thanks!

July 30, 2011 at 1:00 am #34846wpCommerceModeratorYou don’t have any javascript conflict on that page (which is good). But I don’t see the prettyPhoto javascript code which actually triggers the overlay display. Please do me a favour. Get a recent build of the plugin from here –
Deactivate and completely delete the old version and install the new one. Check the “Enable PrettyPhoto” checkbox from the settings. Refresh the page (which contains the shortcodes) couple of times so that the old javascript is not cached. Now try clicking the Image to see if the overlay display works.
let me know how it goes.
July 30, 2011 at 1:21 am #34847dylzMemberOK… I just purchased the plug-in 2 days ago, i need to update already?
Also I tried doing the update request and was asked for my ID? Customer ID? Somethng like that. I don’t know what this is.
I just noticed I can do a NEXT >> and << PREV in the Special setting…. but i would still ike the other one to work.
thanks

July 30, 2011 at 1:41 am #34848wpCommerceModeratorI didn’t mean that the version you are using is old. I wanted to rule out the possibility that somehow your plugin files got corrupted. A fresh installation always helps with that.
Anyway, I have a suspicion that probably your theme is not doing the “wp_footer” call (which every WordPress theme should do). So the necessary javascript codes for overlay display are not being included on that page.
Can you please switch to the default WordPress theme (as it’s a properly coded theme) to see if it changes anything? The following post will help you with the theme testing –
