This error occurs when the video is unavailable. Possible reasons are –
1. The name of the video is wrong
2. The bucket name is wrong
3. AWS Access Key ID is wrong
4. AWS Secret Access Key is wrong
To troubleshoot this issue first you need to change the video status to “public” so we can access it from outside. Now use the following shortcode and see if it works –
[wp_lightbox_flowplayer_anchor_text_video link=”https://s3.amazonaws.com/Part1Videos/vid1/domainname.mp4″ width=”640″ height=”480″ text=”Click here to open the video”]
If the shortcode works fine then you know that the “name” and “bucket” are correct which leaves us with two other possibilities –
1. AWS Access Key ID is wrong
2. AWS Secret Access Key is wrong
Please verify that they are correct. Let me know how it goes.
You need to use the “do_shortcode” filter of wordpress to be able to use shortcode on a php file.

Please use the shortcode in the following format:

Well, If it was working before then the issue is probably not with this plugin. Probably you have added a new plugin which is conflicting. It could be theme as well. But we will troubleshoot the issue.
Please post a link to the page where you are using the shortcode? (make a test membership and send me the login details if the page is protected)
what version of the plugin are you using?

What shortcode are you exactly using?

Please also post the exact shortcode you are using on that page.
If it works with the unprotected mode then probably your video and bucket names are correct. Which leaves us with one thing – your S3 access key or the secret key is not correct. It is a good Idea to watch the video tutorial if you are not sure.
We also added two new shortcodes to display S3 protected video in overlay (they are much more robust and compatible with all major browsers). Detailed instructions can be found here –
Let’s troubleshoot issue. Please change the status of the video to public for now and use the following shortcode –

If it works then we will move to protected mode.
Yes we have added a fix for Ipad. I have also tested your shortcode on my test site (with iPad). It should be working fine now.

So if you have a lot of contents in that page (which can’t fit in the overlay window) I would recommend you to use a bigger width and height.

Ye that’s not a robust shortcode and also I couldn’t test it because that shortcode only works on any page within the site. But I gave it to you in case it works and you will at least have something to use for now. Anyway, don’t worry about it. Give me a few days. I will see what I can do to get a fix for iPad.
Looks like the iframe is getting messed up in iPad browser. I will do some more investigation on this. We have two other shortcodes to display page content in overlay. For the time being Please give it a try with the other shortcodes.

I think it is possible. Give me a few days. I will see what I can do… most likely I will be able to add a new shortcode to embed the player directly on the page.
