ModeratorHi, It’s working fine on my test site. I’m not sure if the shortcode you are using is broken. Please try copying the shortcode from here –
[wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_image link="http://mymobilepeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Home-Page.png" description="This page can be customized with your name, a personal message, and your contact information. The Tap to Call button will direct calls to any number you chose. Members will be have a custom header" source="http://mymobilepeek.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Home-Page-Preview.png"]Also try another deactivation/reactivation as you have upgraded the plugin.
Let me know how it goes.

ModeratorHi, Your plugin version is pretty old. We’ve already fixed that issue. Please do the following:
1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).
2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
3. Upload and activate this version of the plugin(s).
Let me know how it goes.

ModeratorWell, I searched for some free H264 software and put them all together. But you can use a different one if that ensures the quality (e.g. a premium H264 encoder). It’s up to you.
Basically your video files should be H264 encoded. It doesn’t matter what H264 encoder you use.
I’m glad that the shortcode worked for you.

ModeratorHi, we cannot make any changes to the plugin that will affect majority of our users. Besides there are thousands of devices out there. It’s not possible to make the plugin compatible with all of them. So I think it’s best if you use our HTML5 video shortcodes.
Please have a look at the shortcode reference guide for more information (
HTML5 Overlay Display Settings section):

ModeratorHi, Did you deactivate it? I haven’t found any error on this page – http://buildawebsiteinaweek.com/channel-lineups/
I think you are using some lightbox shortcodes on this page – http://buildawebsiteinaweek.com/tv-as-main-page/home-security/
But the shortcodes are not getting filtered. I think it’s because the plugin is deactivated. When the plugin is deactivated the shortcodes are just like normal text.

ModeratorHi, It’s doing the same on my test site. I think there is something wrong with the video format.
We’ve two solutions outlined here – https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/issues-with-getting-video-to-autoplay
Please try them and let me know if it changes anything.
We have other robust shortcodes for MP4 videos. So you shouldn’t be using Lightbox special shortcodes anymore. For example –
[wp_lightbox_anchor_text_mp4_video link="http://www.modalmusic.biz/wp-content/modalmusic_reggae_2x_table_vocal_video.mp4" width="640" height="480" text="Watch the Reggae 2 x Table"]For more info please refer to the shortcode reference guide (MP4 Video Display section):

ModeratorHi, The shortcode you are using is one of the Flowplayer shortcodes. That means you need to have “Flowplayer” checkbox enabled in the settings.
Also your plugin version is pretty old. So the Flowplayer codes might not be there.

ModeratorI’m glad that you figured it out. We also have instruction here –

ModeratorHi, upgrading a plugin means there is a chance of including new script (from that plugin) and that might conflict with our plugin, which is why it is relevant.
Unfortunately the plugin doesn’t send us any notification as to why it stopped working suddenly on your site. We need to see the page with shortcodes to troubleshoot this.
If you don’t want to use the old page just create a new page and embed those shortcodes. Then you can exclude the page from the menubar. That why your site visitors won’t accidentally navigate to that page.

ModeratorHi, There is no issue with the fallback. We already have HTML5 fallback for iPad, iPhone. They are working fine.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to automatically fallback to HTML5 if flash is disabled. IE 6,7,8 and older versions of Firefox can’t even recognize HTML5 video. So if a user turns it off he/she will at least know that the video is playable but it needs flash player (rather than looking at a blank window).

ModeratorHi, We did testing with the android device and it turns out that mobile android can actually play video using Flowplayer.
However, after a research we found out that Kindle fire (tablet android) can also play video using Flash player (Flash option is turned off by default).

ModeratorHi, I couldn’t find any mp4 shortcode on that page (they are all colorbox shortcodes for vimeo videos).
Please post a link to the exact page where you have embedded the mp4 shortcode.
