Lightbox Ultimate plugin uses Flowplayer to play video files. So as long as the video is in the format(.mp4, .flv, .mov, .m4v, .f4v) that flowplayer can play it will open in lightbox. For .mp4, .mov, .m4v formats you also need to make sure that they are H.264 encoded.
Hi, I think the share option comes with the QuickTime player. Unfortunately there is no option in the plugin to play a video file using QuickTime player.

Hi, You will either have to customize the lightbox shortcode or use your own customized shortcode to handle everything. There is no way to place one shortcode inside the parameter of another shortcode. That’s not how a shortcode works. You can check the WordPress guideline for creating a shortcode:

Hi, currently we don’t support multiple video formats in the shortcode for HTML5 video (because it will create more confusion). we only support H264 encoded mp4 format and all major browsers will be able to play that video.

By default, “use jQuery” checkbox is enabled. But some developers don’t follow the WordPress guidelines for including jQuery. They hardcode the jQuery script directly and it leads to multiple copies of jQuery on the same page. We added this option so you can still use Lightbox Ultimate with a poorly coded plugin or theme (by unchecking “use jQuery”). You can learn more about it here:
