I upgraded to jquery 1.9 and WPLU would not work opening links directly in the window no lightbox effect. 3 JavaScript errors showing associated with jquery.tools. Gone back 1.8.3 all seems to be working well. Is this a known issue? I am using the google api version of jquery and also have the box ticked to use jquery. Is this correct?

Hi, Can you please share the link to the page where you are having this issue?
By default, “use jQuery” checkbox is enabled. But some developers don’t follow the WordPress guidelines for including jQuery. They hardcode the jQuery script directly and it leads to multiple copies of jQuery on the same page. We added this option so you can still use Lightbox Ultimate with a poorly coded plugin or theme (by unchecking “use jQuery”). You can learn more about it here:
