MemberI have lightbox plus and Wp Lightbox ultimate installed on my site.
Cant I just use WP Ultimate for my WP single images to open a lightbox effect?
When I deactivate Lightbox Plus (I’m trying to do away with unnecessary plugins) the single images do not open in a lightbox effect anymore.
Does WP Ultimate not handle general wp images in that fashion?
So if I go to a page and insert an image and choose “link to image” will WP Ultimate automatically take control of the lightbox effect? If so how do I tell it to do that automatically?
Thanks,
iso

ModeratorHi, Lightbox Ultimate doesn’t automatically take control over all of your images. You need to use a specific shortcode which will allow you to open an image in lightbox.
Please have a look at the “Plugin Usage” section to learn more about how Lightbox Ultimate works:

Memberok. So in order for a lightbox effect to work with single images I would have to use the shortcode OR keep the regular lightbox plugin active along with WP Lightbox Ultimate.
Thank you,
iso

ModeratorYes, you need to use the appropriate shortcode (specifically for image popup) to pop up an image in lightbox.
You may need to deactivate the other lightbox plugin if it causes any conflict with Lightbox Ultimate (since that plugin automatically links each and every image to a lightbox popup).

SpectatorHello,
Lightbox Ultimate is really precious for me. I’m trying to place images beside text (left or right) but can’t find how to. Is it possible to do it without creating a table?
see example with first image on this page [http://www.lozedion.com/]
Thanks
