MemberI can sort of see a very small watermark in the centre…it’s hardly noticeable.
What is the size in pixels of the image you are trying to use as the watermark?
Also what is the value of the following field from your gallery settings?
Watermarked Max Preview Dimension (px)

MemberWe will add an improvement to the code so that it will automatically make a page private if you “hide” a gallery.

MemberI see your problem and it’s easily rectified.
Edit the gallery which represents those photos and change the value of the field called “Watermarked Max Preview Dimension (px)” to something larger. (say 800)
Doing the above should fix this. Let me know how it goes.

MemberHi GracieAllen,
Thanks for the suggestions – much appreciated.
We will do some brainstorming to see how such a feature can potentially be added.

MemberHi,
When you enable that checkbox the plugin will hide the thumbnail which represents the gallery on the main page which displays all of the galleries available. This will prevent people from being able to click through to that gallery’s page.
Are you saying that the thumbnail for the gallery you are trying to hide is still showing up in the main gallery page? (ie, the one with the shortcode [WPS_photo_gallery_home])
April 3, 2016 at 8:57 am in reply to: WP Photo Seller – How can i make WP photo seller accessible for other roles? #72928Peter
MemberPlease use the suggested instructions by admin as a temporary solution.
In the meantime we will add a filter hook which you can then use by adding some code to your theme functions.php to make the photo seller menu appear for non-admin wordpress accounts. (this way you won’t lose any modifications when you upgrade the photo seller plugin in future)

MemberYou likely not clicking the correct button when selecting your thumb.
I have sent you an email with a screenshot.

MemberI think that your constraint of having a “free” theme might be a bit limiting for you.
What do you think of our demo? Would that theme be something which you might like? (note – it’s not free. It’s a premium theme from studiopress)

MemberI hope it doesn’t normally take this long to watermark them.
No of course not – depending on how many photos there are it should take anywhere from tens of seconds to minutes.
It looks like you are on a server which doesn’t have enough resources to handle the processing of the photos.
Which hosting package are you on and who is the provider?
Can you also check your server error_log file and tell us what errors you see there? (are there any fatal “memory” errors?)
What is the value of your web server’s PHP memory_limit?

MemberCan you please provide a link to the slideshow page so I can take a look?

MemberHi candislphotography,
Yes that issue was resolved. What fixed it was a combination of the changes made to the plugin and the client deleting and re-creating one of her galleries.
Are you having this issue with all your galleries?
Can you provide a link to the gallery with the issue?

MemberHi Parnasse2460,
Does your paypal account have UTF-8 character encoding enabled?
If not please enable this by following instructions here:
Also can you try a test by momentarily reverting back the changes you made to the “WPSPaypalStandard.php” file?

MemberHi,
I solved this problem by using a utf8_encode in the file WPSPaypalStandard.php
Thanks for that, I will investigate further.
Regarding the download error – I don’t get that error or have never seen that occur on past customers. I will investigate our code and apply a fix to this too.

MemberUPDATE: I made a tweak to the plugin and now the download links on the thank you page are working properly on your site.
Regarding email being sent to customer – it appears that your server is not sending emails out.
The photo seller plugin is definitely saying it sent the email but looks like there is some external issue you need to fix on your server.
Can you please do the following troubleshooting steps to rectify this:

MemberI have a feeling that the paypal feature called “Pay After Delivery” may be the cause. I noticed that when I do a “pay after delivery” purchase I never get any links and I don’t see the download link. However when I make a purchase where I “pay now” everything works as it should.
We will do some more tests and investigations to see if we can find a solution to this.
