MemberEach gallery is WP Photo Seller has a check box to exclude gallery from front end so it is not seen by visitors. When checked, the gallery(s) still appear at the front end.
Thanks in advance

MemberHi,
When you enable that checkbox the plugin will hide the thumbnail which represents the gallery on the main page which displays all of the galleries available. This will prevent people from being able to click through to that gallery’s page.
Are you saying that the thumbnail for the gallery you are trying to hide is still showing up in the main gallery page? (ie, the one with the shortcode [WPS_photo_gallery_home])

MemberThe thumbnail is indeed hidden on the main gallery page. But the drop down list(s) from the gallery page still show, and when selected show all the photos in the gallery.

MemberThe workaround is to go to Pages/All Pages in WP, check off the photo seller related pages, select bulk edit, and set status to private. This avoids tediously going through each gallery and making it private.

MemberWe will add an improvement to the code so that it will automatically make a page private if you “hide” a gallery.

MemberThanks!
Another issue in Photo Seller: One size fits all shipping doesn’t fit all.
I sell photo prints of varying size. Shipping costs vary considerably depending on the product ordered. I find no way to enter item specific shipping.
Is there a work around or fix?
Thanks Peter

MemberHi DocE,
The shipping feature is on our TODO as something which we plan to add more functionality to.
It is a relatively complex thing to code so I ask that you please be patient.
In the meantime have you considered maybe using the “paypal profile-based” option?

MemberI looked at Paypal and it more flexible, but still is a per cart cost rather than a per item shipping cost. Visit myfocusonbirds.com and see how awkward it is to vary shipping costs based on type and number of items ordered. I am working on other workarounds. Hope you will bump up on your todo list.
