February 13, 2017 at 6:38 pm in reply to: Subscribers register but do not confirm to MailChimp. Still, they get access #38971slstayMember
Just curious, have there been any updates made between emember and mailchimp that do what robertolito requested above? That’s what I wish would happen as well–that emember doesn’t activate their account until they have double opted-in to mail chimp.
To get around it I have implemented a convoluted free registration process where they first subscribe to my mail chimp list, then they have to double opt-in, then I set the mail chimp double opt-in success page to redirect to my emember registration form page–at which point they can fill out the form and create a free member account. It works, but it’s just a lot of steps for my free members to take. (Not to mention the fact that mailchimp doesn’t pass through their email address into the emember registration form–so there is an opportunity for error where they either mistype their email address in the emember registration form or even enter a different email address altogether.)

February 8, 2017 at 9:30 pm in reply to: estore not adding item after installing Sitground's Supercacher #70051slstayMemberAre these still the only 2 caching plugins you support? How about WP Rocket? (I am also experiencing some really strange caching issues with Siteground’s SuperCacher plugin.)
February 8, 2017 at 4:49 pm in reply to: eMember with eStore Intergration – Upgrade and Downgrade Membership Le #53301slstayMemberI will be adding a 2nd paid monthly membership level and am trying to figure out how to handle membership upgrades and downgrades. I am using PayPal. Is what you describe above still the best way to handle upgrades and downgrades for recurring monthly memberships? I’m just wondering if you’ve added any new features or plugins to handle this?
slstayMemberAre we still unable to use Braintree for subscriptions?
January 19, 2017 at 5:04 pm in reply to: eStore – how can customer update credit card info for authorize.net gateway #71151slstayMemberOkay, I just submitted a custom dev request to see what it would cost to add this ability to Stripe.
January 19, 2017 at 3:52 am in reply to: eStore – how can customer update credit card info for authorize.net gateway #71149slstayMemberI am having the same problem with Authorize.net. Would using Stripe change that? Or is it the same issue with Stripe?
slstayMemberSo I have been working with a customer who would like to subscribe but can’t get past that error message. She has tried clearing her browser cache and cookies, as well as trying both Chrome and Safari–but nothing is working, so she can’t subscribe. Any other thoughts or fixes?
slstayMemberI just had the same thing happen to one of my customers, so I subscribed using a personal PayPal account and ran into the same issue (exact same message as listed above.) Then, I retyped my URL in the address bar and subscribed again, but that time it worked.
Do you know why PayPal is being buggy that way?
slstayMemberOkay. I had considered something similar; however, I don’t want to bug my free members every time they log in with the “one time offer.” I really only want them to see the offer one time. I’ll just have to find another point in the process to present the offer. If you think of any other way of doing it please let me know. Thanks for your help.
slstayMemberIf there aren’t currently any plans to add a cancel authorize.net ARB subscription shortcode, do you have the bandwidth for me to hire you for some custom development?
slstayMemberOk, thanks. Do you know if you have any plans to add a cancel subscription feature (like the one you have for paypal) for authorize.net? It looks like their api may support that. “To cancel a subscription, call ARBCancelSubscription and enter the subscriptionId. If this call is successful, the subscription will no longer exist in our system.” http://developer.authorize.net/api/reference/features/recurring_billing.html
slstayMemberI am using authorize.net arb. How do unsubscriptions work with that? Is there a similar [wp_eMember_cancel_subscription_link alias=”XYZ”] shortcode?
