Thanks very much – amazing how very simple things can throw things off, eh?
In the case of the redirect – as you suspected, it was indeed simply a matter of checking off that box (not sure how the setting got changed, but I’m happy it was that easy anyway).
In the second case I simply forgot to add commas after a couple of the URLs!!

bentley74MemberOh wait a minute!! lol
I JUST realized that there is a manual registration link creator (and even an option to email it to customer)
Get the feeling you must have not been clear on what exactly I was asking for.
Pretty sure this is EXACTLY what I need.
Sorry about that!
bentley74MemberWhat I meant was that there is a way you can literally fill out the same registration form that the customers are presented with – NOT adding them from within the eMember interface. None of this would be an issue if it wasn’t for the fact that you can’t edit usernames (still haven’t figured out why exactly that is). If that wasn’t the case I’d simply finished off registrations for people. As it stands, when they are incomplete (and this seems to happen a fair bit) I basically have to do them from scratch. I thought it would handy if I could send them the same registration invitation email again (to a different email address if need be. OR – perhaps if there was even a way for me to get a copy of the email they receive (the same way I do for the e-cart confirmation email) THAT would be cool. Then I could just follow the link and do the registration for them if need be.
bentley74MemberI wasn’t saying that the email address goes out of date in 5-10 minutes (lol). What I was saying is that the default Paypal e-mail address (where the emails seem to go when a customer has a Paypal account) is sometimes out of date without the customer necessarily knowing about it. OR there are cases where a customer has made a mistake typing it in etc.
Bottom-line (regardless of the details) there ARE times when it would be very helpful to be able to simply press a button from within eMember and be able to resend the emails for a given customer.
In cases where I am (or plan to) use PDF stamper, it’s not just a matter of entering user login. I need to fill out a full account with address etc.
I seem to recall a feature in WishList (not trying to compare too much – I love eMember!) where you could complete registrations for customers if something went wrong (emails went missing etc etc). This sort of feature would be VERY helpful.
Thanks kindly for your time

bentley74MemberHmmm – just tried to make a manually stamped file and received an error
etc etc/.htSetaPDF-Stamper.icl has expired
What does this mean? Do I need to upgrade my stamper plugin?
bentley74MemberJust to clarify – will the customer receive the email that gets sent out from my shopping cart automatically when a purchase is made, or will this be completely separate (and I won’t even know when these orders are placed)?
Thanks
B
bentley74MemberAhhhh – looks like I was missing “_buy_now” from my short codes.
So this bypasses my shopping cart altogether?
Will the person receive my emails? Will it be registered in my shopping cart AT ALL or is this just a straight order from the other author via paypal?
bentley74MemberI have an additional question. How can I get a coupon to apply to every single unit being sold?
I am offering a $10 OFF coupon on a particular type of product. The coupon works just fine when people are purchasing ONE – but if they increase the number of units they wish to purchase it only takes $10 off the total (not each one). Hoping I can get it working so that a $10 discount is applied to every single one.
Thanks

bentley74MemberLatest version – was recently upgraded (following your instructions).
By the way – is there ANY way to test out the email system without full sandbox testing or dummy orders? Would be awesome if I could press a button and receive the email that customers are going to get (without customer specific details of course).
P.S. No changes to code
bentley74MemberHand-typed it. Still showed up as the shortcode, not the actual download link
Very weird
bentley74MemberHaha – I know I must drive you technical-wizards insane sometimes! All I know is “works”, “doesn’t work”.
To be fair – I love the simplicity of eMember (over Wishlist) and of course the seamless integration with all your other amazing plugins – so please don’t take that the wrong way. Just a silly observation from someone who doesn’t know any better.
Thanks very much for the help!! A bit more official than the weird work-around (I mentioned in another thread)
B
bentley74MemberOk – figured out a work-around by accident. Seems weird to me, but when I am logged into WordPress and then log in to my membership (with a test account), the eMember user becomes ME (not the test user) and I can post on the forum and do forum admin stuff.
Interesting!
B
bentley74MemberWhoops – got this one mixed up with another thread I added to.
It IS working for users – ie when they visit forum they are logged in. But what it DOESN’T do is allow me as admin to use the forum.
bentley74MemberYep all three of those boxes are checked off. Should I now be able to access the member’s area just by being logged in to WordPress? Will try again – but almost positive it still wasn’t working
bentley74MemberHaven’t tried that – it was part of a product specific buyer instructions section cut and pasted from a notepad file.
Could that cause some extra characters to get added?
