I am attempting install PDF stamper on a new domain and am encountering issues. I did not realize this was only allowed for one domain, but I corrected that situation (deleting plugin from other domain) and still cannot get it activated.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Bentley
bentley74MemberWhoops!! LOL
What threw me off is the fact that my other installations are not updated either. But I guess I must be using older versions of estore with them too (one brand new site IS but it also has new estore version)!
Thanks guys!!!! Will make sure to check the obvious stuff next time! lol

You said there is some way you can force customers to provide address. Can you elaborate on this?
Thanks!

bentley74MemberThanks for the info.
I actually have another question about this. I am using eStore in connection with a membership (WishList) I have set up. If I was going to successfully refund a member, (or in cases where someone decides to cancel their subscription) – and have the account removed from both the shopping cart AND WishList would I do the same thing you’ve described? It would be nice if I didn’t have to manually remove this accounts.
Thanks again

bentley74MemberHi Dave,
I appreciate the help.
I opened up WP_eStore_style.css using Coffee Cup editor and the total number of lines is only 425.
Not really sure what component would affect the “Your Cart is Empty” text (what I would like to make more prominent)
Thanks!
B
bentley74MemberOk – I’d definitely like to add that to the “wish-list” of new features
Thanks
B
bentley74MemberCool! Can you tell us where to enable this functionality?
Thanks
B
bentley74MemberI too have an Elegant Themes membership and would LOVE to know how eStore could be integrated with this theme!

bentley74MemberGreat – thanks for the info!

What if shipping is already included in the price (the way I have it set up)?
Are you saying that this is just a crazy coincidence that two people in a row simply chose not to add their shipping info? (as mentioned, I’ve never encountered this before when using plain Paypal buy now buttons). If so, I probably just won’t worry about it.
Thanks for your help!

February 1, 2011 at 2:08 am in reply to: capturing more information even when paying via paypal #21027bentley74MemberOK – something really weird is going on. I just realized that the reason the shipping info is not showing up is because it’s NOT being submitted with the order! Neither of my first two orders included shipping addresses! I didn’t think this was even possible (ie to complete an order without submitting your address). Is there some setting I am forgetting to enable? Every thing was working totally fine before (when just using plain old Paypal buttons).
Thanks

January 31, 2011 at 7:14 pm in reply to: capturing more information even when paying via paypal #21026bentley74MemberHello,
I just installed eStore on a site selling physical goods. Looking at the email sent to my first customer (with the new system in place), I see that the specific product info was included (cool!) BUT the {shipping_info} code did not work. I was basically saying, “this is where your order will go:” before adding the snippet. All it did was leave a big gaping space in the middle of the email.
Any ideas why this might happen?
Thanks

The ordering process continues to work beautifully, but now I want to tweak various things.
IPN is shut off in Paypal (yet everything works fine – is this normal?) and customers are not being sent to my “thank-you” page – are these two things linked?
If I turn it on will they then start to be forwarded to the URL I have set in my eStore settings?
The reason I’ve been a bit cautious about IPN is because I really don’t understand it yet. In my Paypal account there is only room for one URL. I saw mention of the fact that any eStore URLs will override this, but what about plain paypal buttons I have for other products on other sites? If I’m selling widgets on another site using a regular old paypal button, when customers make a purchase will they end up redirected over to my new site’s thank you page?? If so, I think I better leave IPN off for now (since everything seems to work just fine).

A real transaction took place, eStore logged the sale and applied the coupon. WishList was contacted, and sent out the registration email!
Thanks again for all your amazing work here, Ruhul (and team)! You guys rock!

I tried changing permissions etc with no luck, and then on a whim I started deactivating plugins and re-trying. The first one I tried was “Bad Behavior” (if anything would block access I figured this would be it) – next attempt? IPN sent successfully! lol
NOW – let’s see if we can do a successful transaction! Will come back and let you know
Thanks again!
