July 16, 2011 at 1:15 am in reply to: No Customer Record Being Created But Everything Else is Working #31915amin007ParticipantPlease update the plugins from here then do a new test transaction and let me know what you see:
amin007ParticipantThe affiliate commission log output goes in the following file:
eStore_post_payment_debug.log
Please share the content of that file.
amin007ParticipantYep it will gather the customer info entered in the auth.net payment form.
amin007ParticipantIf you are following this documentation then you can use the “variation3” column to enter data into the digital variation:

The variation3 column was originally referred to as the digital variation. When a new variation was added we couldn’t change the database column names to keep backwards compatibility.
July 16, 2011 at 1:03 am in reply to: Can't get eStore and WPAffiliate to work -sales not showing in affliate accounts #31855amin007ParticipantWell it seems that the database columns are still out of sync which is why the insert is not working. I sent you an email to get site access so I can see the status of your install.
amin007ParticipantIf you are using just eStore then there will be no concept of member login but your customers can request to download the files that they once purchased. There is a shortcode in the extra shortcodes plugin to facilitate this. You can find more details here:
http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ecommerce/?p=460
If you are using eStore and eMember then you can have a members only download area and let people see what they purchased. This document explains more:

amin007ParticipantGlad to hear that you like the plugin. It is possible that you didn’t completely overwrite the old image (for example if the file extension do not match). To replace the image in the welcome page you need to replace the “wp_aff_stats.jpg” file from the following directory.
wp-affiliate-platform/affiliates/images
Also remember that your browser will cache the image after the first load so you might need a few refresh to get the new one. A good way to troubleshoot this is to view the HTML source code in the welcome page so you can see the URL of that image. Now if you enter that URL in the browser it will give you a clean view of exactly which file to replace.
The image files in the affiliate plugin are one of the following 3 types:
– jpg
– gif
– png

July 16, 2011 at 12:44 am in reply to: Variation select box bounces back to home page — can't put product in cart! #34245amin007Participant@frsn, You have some serious HTML coding gone bad on this page. Your whole page is linked to your home page. Most likely you did not close the “a” tag somewhere.
This has got nothing to do with selecting variation. Simply go to that page and click anywhere on the page and it will send you to the home page. Please run this page through the W3 Validator and fix up the coding mistakes:
amin007ParticipantI sent you an email to get site access so I can check it out.
amin007ParticipantThere is no size limitation. Please duplicate one of these products (for testing purposes only) that use that thumbnail image which wasn’t showing. Then place this product on a test page and post the link to that page so I can see what its doing.
You can make your thumbnail whatever you want so yes you can put PayPal logo in your thubnail. Most people prefer to put the PayPal seal on a sidebar or on the checkout page. This way everyone sort of knows that you use PayPal to securely process the payments.
amin007ParticipantJust add the category names in your Product description field and that should take care of this.
amin007ParticipantPlease update the plugin with a fresh build from here and test another transaction:
amin007ParticipantThats not how normal plugins work in a standard WordPress multi-site install. You install one plugin but each individual sub-site will have it’s own database and settings and admin area so the admin of the sub-sites can configure each plugin the way he wants for his sub-site.
