Variation select box bounces back to home page — can't put product in cart!

Hi,

I have installed several variations of each digital product in my estore. When a customer tries to select one of these, they automatically get bounced back to the top page of my website! They cannot put the product in their cart. What is going on here?

Hi, Can you please send us a link to where this is happening so we can have a look at the issue? Are you using the shopping cart anchor option in the eStore settings?

Randy Curry here again. I placed the WP eMember and WP eStore on my new WordPress Blog and have the same problem I always seem to have getting the programs to work initially. I sent a support ticket to Tips & Tricks. The website is GuaranteedOnlineMarketingResults.com. Both of the programs are installed there. Hi, I took a look at your site it looks like you had an older version of the WP eMember installed, I updated this for you and everything looks to be working properly now. When WordPress updated to 3.1 they made many changes to their integration API’s, so there was modification needed in the eMember to make it compatible with WordPress 3.1 and above. You can sometimes select the variation that is already visible in the dropdown menu for each ebook (Epub). But if you try to select a different variation, it bounces you back to the Home page. I really need to get this sorted out pronto! I appreciate any help you can give.

@frsn, You have some serious HTML coding gone bad on this page. Your whole page is linked to your home page. Most likely you did not close the “a” tag somewhere.

This has got nothing to do with selecting variation. Simply go to that page and click anywhere on the page and it will send you to the home page. Please run this page through the W3 Validator and fix up the coding mistakes:
