My boss has eStore and WPAffiliate. We are experiencing several issues. The sales from the products in eStore are not showing in the affiliate’s accounts. We also just started experiencing another issue – now, when we click the Add to Cart button to purchase the product from the eStore, it is not taking us to the PayPal purchase page – it takes us to our product web page. We would appreciate any assistance, and if someone with experience in troubleshooting eStore and WPAffiliate may contact us regarding being hired to resolve this issue ASAP, that would be helpful. – Kelly Johnson, info@karen-keller.com

“The sales from the products in eStore are not showing in the affiliate’s accounts” – this is really easy to figure out. Simply run a test transaction with the debug option enabled and it will reveal the issue. This post will guide you:

April 29, 2011 at 4:25 pm #31849kkinfluenceMemberHi amin007: Thank you for your reply. My boss had a programmer set up a new landing page, and when we conducted all of the tests yesterday, the first few tests took us to the PayPal purchase page, but did not record any sales in the affiliate account. Then, the additional tests we conducted would not take us to the PayPal purchase page – it took us to the product page on my boss’s website. The programmer did not change any coding between tests.
Here is the test landing page URL:

If you may share what needs to be checked and tested to have the purchase processed and the sale credited in an affiliate’s account in WP Affiliate, that would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

April 30, 2011 at 5:05 am #31851amin007ParticipantLooking at your debug information it looks like the plugin is processing the tasks as expected. I am pretty sure the database columns are out of sync so the data is not getting stored in the database. This happens if you upgrade the plugins without doing a deactivate and reactivate mentioned in the upgrade instruction.
Simply do the following to fix the issue:
1) Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of both the plugins
2) Get a fresh build of the plugins from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
3) Upload and activate them
4) Test out a sale to make sure everything is working as expected
July 9, 2011 at 2:01 pm #31852headmonkMemberHi Amin,
I too am having the issue where sales are working fine but not being tracked in WP Affiliate. I did the above of deactivating then deleting and reuploading and reactivating. But I still do not see sales for the last month, when I updated incorrectly. Is there anyway to get back the other missing sales?
thanks in advance!
July 10, 2011 at 1:17 am #31853amin007ParticipantIf you incorrectly updated the plugin which resulted in data not being inserted into the database you can’t get those data back because there is nothing to get back in the first place. You can manually insert those commissions now by going to the “Sales/Comm data”. The question to ask is… does the plugin track the affiliate commissions correctly after you fixed it up?
July 15, 2011 at 2:00 pm #31854headmonkMemberAmin,
I haven’t been getting the new sales to show up in the Sales/Comm data either. Though I’ve been making daily sales, it seems to have stopped tracking them since May 25!
Any suggestions?
thanks!
July 16, 2011 at 1:03 am #31855amin007ParticipantWell it seems that the database columns are still out of sync which is why the insert is not working. I sent you an email to get site access so I can see the status of your install.
