Our last few customers have not been able to download our PDF files after completing their purchase.
They are directed back to the Thank You page after paying through paypal, but the link says no file exists. Also, the email is arriving very late, sometimes over an hour after purchase for both customer and seller. When the customer then tries to access the file with that link, it says they have already accessed that file the maximum number of times.
Any idea what is causing this? Our customers are getting pretty frustrated and sending the files manually isn’t much fun.
Also, just another note. It appears the customers are not being completely registered with eMember. They show up in the list but do not have a username and instead of an IP address showing, it just has “IP”. Are these issues related?
Thanks in advance for the help!

How to Test WP eStore Plugin's Encrypted Download System on Your Site
This post will shed some light on why emails can take a while depending on your server:
The IP address and eMember ID are optional fields that are only populated if the information is available. For example if a member makes a purchase without being logged into eMember then the plugin has no way of knowing his eMember ID and it won’t put anything there.

I just ran a test of the item we are having the most trouble with and it downloaded perfectly from the encrypted link so I’m not sure what is going on when our customers get their link.
The weird thing is that it was automatically creating the members before and then now I’m not seeing that happen and I’m not sure what has changed.

July 14, 2011 at 2:01 pm #34262jyoung2480MemberOkay, here’s another clue. I just tried to manually stamp a file and received this fatal error:
Fatal error:
The encoded file [path to file] is corrupt. in Unknown on line 0
Any idea what’s causing this?
July 14, 2011 at 6:06 pm #34263jyoung2480MemberI really need some help… Still having issues.

Regarding eMember… you haven’t completed the “Pages/Forms settings” of eMember (I can see that the registration page URL is missing). Please complete the full configuration settings before you start testing the plugin. The video tutorials on this page is a good start in configuring the settings:
July 15, 2011 at 12:06 pm #34265jyoung2480MemberThanks, I think we’re almost there. However, I think an issue may be with my product license key. It doesn’t appear that the key that is being stored is valid. Could you resend the key that is on file for my purchase so I can make sure that it is correct?

Thanks
