ModeratorHi, When I hover mouse on the “login” link it doesn’t show any link and looks like the link is actually blank. Can you please make sure that you entered the “login page” URL correctly in the “page settings” of eMember?

ModeratorCan you please turn off the “encrypted website payment” from your PayPal profile and uncheck the “fancy checkout redirection” in the WP eStore settings? let me know how it goes.

ModeratorUsually it means you haven’t specified the correct details in the subscription payment section.
I just checked the two buttons on the following page –
http://mp3travelclub.com/about/join-today
The one on the left is working fine and your other subscription button doesn’t seem to be correct. Can you please post the information you’ve used in the subscription section of the other product?

ModeratorYou don’t need to go to the “view” folder for this. “wp_eStore_style.css” file is in the main folder of WP eStore. Look inside the “wp-cart-for-digital-products” folder (search for a file named “wp_eStore_style”.

Moderatoryes, it will affect all the users of that membership level.

Moderator“all product-posts have the download link into them” – are you using the eStore download button for your products or just a normal download link? If you are using the normal download links and only members can view and download the content, they still will be able to see the actual download link. But if you use the eStore download button members won’t be able to see the actual download link. So that’s secure.

August 22, 2010 at 1:17 am in reply to: Adding International Shipping dropdown during Checkout #23524wpCommerce
ModeratorI think you might want to use the base shipping with the shipping cost to avoid charging extra per product.
Say, You have a physical product of $10.00 and you are using a base shipping cost of $10.00 for this product. As you are using a base shipping cost, you don’t need to specify the full shipping cost for country A, Country B, Country C, Country D and Country E in the variation. In the variation You will specify the extra costs (which together with the base shipping will make the full cost) that you need to charge for different countries. Have a look at the following variation example –
Variation 1: Shipping
Country A $2.00
Country B $5.00
Country C $7.00
country D $9.00
country E $11.oo
In the above variation, if your customer choose country A it will charge extra $2.00 per product for shipping cost with a base shipping of $10.00 ( base shipping $10.00+ $2.00 = total $12.00 shippping cost for country A). Now if that customer add 2 products to the cart , the total shipping cost will be $14.00 ( base shipping 10.00+2*2 = $14.00). If you’ve used a flat $12,00 shipping cost in the variation it’d add $12.00 everytime you add the product in the cart. Hope this makes sense.

ModeratorYou can create a “product” page with “Buy Now” button and Put that “product” page URL in the “Redirect after login” field while adding/editing a membership level in WP eMember. So when a user of that membership level logs in, he/she will be redirected to your product page. Also set protection to the “product” page so that anyone visiting that page needs to be logged in to view the content (this way only logged in members have access to that content). You can also protect the buy buttons using eMember’s section protection depending on what you are trying to do:

There is also this option:

ModeratorSay, you have a product “test” and a product page for that product “test-product”. you can put texts like “more info” giving link to that product page using the following code –
<a href="http://www.your-site.com/test-product" target="_blank">more info</a>
this should open the “test-product” page in a window once clicked on “more info”. Basically adding the following to a link opens it in a new window:
target="_blank"

ModeratorThere was a bug before in the variation control if you’d use any other currency symbol other than “$”. It’s been fixed and maybe you missed the update. Can you please request for an update and see if it’s still happening. Have a look on this post on how to get update –
Let me know how it goes

Moderatoryou can do a test transaction with $.01 to check if the pdf stamper is working as you expected (100% off coupon won’t be a good idea as Paypal doesn’t allow any $0.0 purchase).
Yes,”Error! You have exceeded the maximum download limit for this link.” means it has been clicked more than the number you have specified in the settings (In the “number of download” field of WP eStore settings..eg- 2 or 3).
