ModeratorThanks for the info. I really appreciate that.
What shortcode are you using for the second video? Could you post it here?
wpCommerce
ModeratorHi, All the shortcode reference guides are available here (Plugin Usage section:
WordPress Lightbox Ultimate Plugin – Display Media in a Fancy Lightbox Overlay
We have multiple shortcodes to play a media file. This is so you can use different lightbox styles.
wpCommerce
ModeratorHi, we don’t recommend anyone to use Lightbox shortcode anymore. Please use the prettyPhoto shortcode to display SWF file instead. For example:
[wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_flash_video link="http://colegiomio.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/main.swf" width="640" height="480" description="Video description goes here" source="http://colegiomio.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/Diffic.jpg" title="Video title goes here"]I don’t think it’s going to work in any lightbox because the shortcode doesn’t understand any dependency the SWF file may have. It just needs a single compiled SWF file to play it in lightbox.
However, the issue is not the shortcode. When the video is in the lightbox window it may not be able to find the directory like it does in a standalone HTML file.
Have you tried directly embedding it on a WordPress post/page (without anchor text/image)?

ModeratorHi, which video are you talking about? The first (“Click here to open the mp4 video”) or the second (“click here to open the video”) one.
Regarding the 1st video: We don’t support Lightbox Special shortcodes anymore (except the shortcode to display viddler video). We have already removed all the shortcodes from the shortcode reference guide. So please don’t use this shortcode.
Regarding the 2nd video: It’s working fine on Android mobile. I think It just needs to download the whole video before it is playable.

ModeratorHi, what shortcode are you using? Please post a link to the page where you are using that shortcode.

ModeratorHi, It’s not fancybox. We use flowplayer to play self hosted mp4 video. Could you post a link to the page where you are using this shortcode?

ModeratorHi, I think your video has formatting issue. It doesn’t work on my test site either.
Please take a look at the following post for a possible solution to this issue:

ModeratorHi, you are supposed to use it with an image but you are using it with a shortcode which doesn’t get filtered until you load the page.
Generally, when you switch from visual to html editor the image is interpreted as
<a h href="www.example.com/your-image.jpg"....</a>. It cannot do the same for shortcode. I guess that’s why the caption shortcode is not functioning.March 22, 2012 at 5:29 am in reply to: Lightbox Ultimate – User anchor text/ image with caption shortcode #43220wpCommerce
ModeratorHi, I think you can also use it in the visual editor. For example:
[caption id="attachment_388" align="alignright" width="300" caption="Title goes here"]
[wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_image link="http:www.example.com/overlay-image.jpg" description="description goes here" title="title goes here" source="http://www.example.com/anchor-image.jpg"]
[/caption]As long as you don’t switch between the two editors it should work (it worked for me).

ModeratorIt turned out that there were two versions of the main jQuery library in that page. Removing one solved the issue.

ModeratorHi, could you show me how you are using lightbox ultimate shortcode inside the caption shortcode?

ModeratorI think I understand what you mean. The overlay window is getting cut off a bit on the left side. We have been able to fix it. We have also added an option to the settings so you can allow user to expand the overlay image. Please do the following:
1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).
2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
3. Upload and activate this version of the plugin(s).

ModeratorHi, we need to take a look at your site when the default WordPress theme is active. I’ve sent you a site access request to your registered email address. Let me know if you don’t receive it.
wpCommerce
ModeratorHi, initially we had the resizing option enabled for prettyPhoto library. But some of our users didn’t like it. So we have disabled it for the time being.
Anyway, we will add this option to the settings so users can enable/disable it at any time. I will keep you posted.
