I want lightbox videos to open in a 1280×720 pixel window. But if the width of the browser is less that that, I’d like the window to automatically reduce in size to fit – like the free version does.
Is this possible?
March 16, 2012 at 11:42 pm #43074wpCommerceModeratorHi, what shortcode are you using?
March 19, 2012 at 6:07 am #43075peterbeehMemberThis is a copy of the shortcode:
[wp_lightbox_prettyPhoto_video link=”http://vimeo.com/30001388″ description=”tyler nose mount clip, arri alexa, optimo dp rouge 16-40mm” source=”http://peterbeeh.com.au/videotn/NoseMountHDtn.jpg” title= “tyler nose mount clip, arri alexa, optimo dp rouge 16-40mm” ]
March 19, 2012 at 7:59 am #43076wpCommerceModeratorHi, initially we had the resizing option enabled for prettyPhoto library. But some of our users didn’t like it. So we have disabled it for the time being.
Anyway, we will add this option to the settings so users can enable/disable it at any time. I will keep you posted.
March 19, 2012 at 10:36 pm #43077peterbeehMemberthanks!
is it enabled in other options?
March 20, 2012 at 1:40 am #43078wpCommerceModeratorHi, we have added the option to the prettyPhoto library settings. Please do the following:
1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).
2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
3. Upload and activate this version of the plugin(s).
Let me know how it goes.
March 20, 2012 at 10:38 pm #43079peterbeehMemberHi,
Thanks for the prompt response! Working much better for my needs now . But there appears to be a couple of bugs. The main one is when accessing through safari on iphone 4. Activating the video window is causing safari to freeze. Latest ios. It works ok on ipad 2 and 3.
Also, on desktops, if the maximise window button is selected and you then resize the browser, the video frame remains stuck to one side. Ideally, I guess it would be better if the player window re-centered itself.
In reality, I’d probably prefer not to have the ‘go to maximum button in the top left’. But I realise the next person will have the opposite view…
thanks again
March 21, 2012 at 3:16 am #43080wpCommerceModeratorI think I understand what you mean. The overlay window is getting cut off a bit on the left side. We have been able to fix it. We have also added an option to the settings so you can allow user to expand the overlay image. Please do the following:
1. Deactivate and delete the currently installed version of the plugin(s).
2. Download a fresh build of the plugin(s) from here:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/update-request
3. Upload and activate this version of the plugin(s).
