Can you post a link to the page where you are using the shortcode?
Please also post the exact shortcode you are using to popup YouTube video.
You can keep them on the page like they are right now. They just need to be inside a hidden div. When you click the anchor text or image the content will popup in lightbox.
Hi, now that you have upgraded to Lightbox Ultimate I think it’s better not to use the video lightbox (free one) shortcode anymore.
Lightbox Ultimate has a shortcode to popup inline HTML content. Instructions are available here (Inline HTML Display in Overlay section):
Please also make sure that both the plugins are not active at the same time. If you are using Lightbox Ultimate you need to keep the video lightbox deactivated.
Hi, I don’t think you have that shortcode embedded anymore. Please embed that shortcode so I can see what happens when I click it.
Hi, It’s a password protected page. I can’t access it.
Could you explain a bit more about your issue?
Inline is another way of custom popup. So if you have a div anywhere on that page:
<div id="my_custom_content">
......
content goes here
......
</div>You can create an anchor text or image (just like the shortcode you are using) linked to that ID of DIV. When anyone clicks the anchor text or image the content of that whole DIV will popup. Instructions are available in the shortcode reference guide (Inline HTML Display in Overlay section):
I need to know what shortcode you are currently using to popup the page.
Hi, Does your theme have a footer? Some additional JavaScript codes are also required for the lightbox to work (The plugin includes them in the footer so they don’t affect your page load time). But I don’t see them anywhere on that page.
Please take a look at the following article. It explains everything about using a properly coded WordPress Theme:
Hi, Internet Explorer (IE8 or below) is not a good choice for browser. And even if you get IE users most of them will be using IE9 (it’s been out for a long time).
IE8 is not suitable for any advanced JavaScript or CSS. But for lightbox effect we don’t have any other choice but to use advanced JavaScript (for example: popup video, close video). In that case an ideal browser would be something that can handle this well, something that doesn’t freeze or becomes unresponsive when you click an element.
However, we will look into the issue to see if we can improve the performance.
Hi, I believe you are using the prettyPhoto shortcode. Have you checked the “Enable prettyPhoto” option in the settings?
No Lightbox Ultimate JavaScript file is being included. Do you have any plugin that might prevent script from loading?
I think your theme also doesn’t have any footer. Lightbox Ultimate plugin includes some codes in the footer so that it doesn’t affect your page load time.
Please take a look at the following post. It will help you understand the issue.
Hi, You shouldn’t be having any issue with the modern browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE9).
IE8 needs to load the whole page content before you can do anything. So the page is not so responsive. Also it’s not really user-friendly when you dynamically execute code (lightbox), which is why it takes some time to load. But I don’t think it will affect the performance of the video.
Could you try updating your flash player to see if it makes any difference?
Hi, Instructions are available here: http://tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-affiliate-link-manager/wp-content/uploads/wp-lightbox-stuff/docs/group-multiple-anchor-images.pdf
Hi, It depends on the size of your each anchor image and how many of them will fit in each row.
We don’t have any shortcode to play mp4 video using fancybox library. Please check the shortcode reference guide and use the appropriate shortcode:
Hi, This is not how the external page/post popup works. You will be able to show the content in overlay but it will look exactly how it looks in the browser. So if you have header, footer etc. in the browser view you will have them in the popup as well. You can try our inline HTML shortcode to popup specific content
It’s not supposed to popup automatically. Could you post the exact shortcode you are using to popup inline content?
Hi, I think your shortcode is broken. Please copy the exact shortcode from here and see if it works –
