Lightbox Ultimate – Play HTML5 Compatible MP4 Video

I am using mp4 video file and this works with a video player such as video.js. I disabled this plugin and using just lightbox ultimate. I even disabled firewall 2. But, nothing is getting displayed. Do I need a video player?

Please check and let me know.

Hi, You don’t need any video player to play it. Lightbox Ultimate comes with an HTML5 player.

I deactivated lightbox ultimate as I started using a different plugin. I am trying to activate now and nothing is happening. Not sure why. It is taking me to to home page.

Any ideas??

I found the issue. I tried the plugin on a generic buddypress theme without any other plugins and it works. It looks like there is some kind of conflict either with the custom theme or with another plugin. I will see if I can figure this out.

It usually happens if you have a plugin that is including hardcoded jQuery library (poor coding). You can learn more about it here:

I am now having issues with emember and estore plugins. They were working fine before. Now, when I go to settings, it takes me to the home page of my website. I am not even able to deactivate the plugins. It looks like I need to delete them from the folder.

This is something critical for my work. Can you get back to me ASAP? I would really appreciate that.

Hi, I don’t know what actually you did. It would be better if you could explain a bit more.

Lightbox Ultimate is not related to eStore or eMember. So if you make any modification to Lightbox Ultimate it shouldn’t affect eStore or eMember.

I am looking to add 12 mp4 videos in a gallery on a page. When the user clicks on each of them, I would like it to open in a lightbox. I would like 3 on each row. Is this possible?

I checked fancybox but it only supports flash

Any suggestions – please let me know.

Hi, It depends on the size of your each anchor image and how many of them will fit in each row.

We don’t have any shortcode to play mp4 video using fancybox library. Please check the shortcode reference guide and use the appropriate shortcode:

The short code for html5 world good. All I am looking for is a way to arrange in a grid fashion. Do you have suggestions for that kind of display?
